I have this theory that the better the invitation, the better the party.
The invite sets the tone. A good, well thought out, appealing
paper invitation is a BIG DEAL. Which is why I nearly called the Paper
Source buyers and kissed them over the phone yesterday when orange and gray Snow & Graham paper arrived in the store. HOW DID THEY KNOW? How did Snow & Graham know? What a mystery. This is the paper I will use to line my invitation envelopes. Gray envelopes, orange POM POM paper. BRIGHT orange RSVP
envelopes. I might not even have invites. Just send out envelopes.
People will be like, "Wow, I don't know what this is all about, but I
most definitely want to get on a plane to California and celebrate some
sort of orange and gray LOVE FEST." And by LOVE FEST they will mean
wedding.
*not to be confused with the neglected but soon-to-be-back-with-a-vengeance Wedding Wednesdays.
