I made major progress this weekend on the rainbow quilt. (Seriously. 10 inch square quilts for the win! I’ve never cut or sewn a top so fast!) I quilted it all together with tons of lines and just need to get the binding into place then wash it and break it in for a picnic at the park. Instant favorite, this one.

Hope you have a great week!

Beautiful! Did you use a walking foot for the quilting? Do you have any special tips to avoid shifting when sewing so many lines? Really, this is lovely!

    Love.
Same questions as Kelly + size… you mentioned 10″ squares, but then is it 10 squares x 10 squares? Beautiful!!! Very inspiring!

I love this SO much. Did you use white thread for your quilting lines? I can’t tell in the photo.
I need a project just like this in my life. Haven’t quilted since baby boy was born… 11 months ago.

    Thank you!
I don’t use a walking foot. I did have some shifting issues with this one and so it’s going to be sort of crazy to bind, but I think it will turn out okay. 🙂

The squares are 10 inches and there are 36 squares – six rows of six squares. 🙂

I love the colors and that you went with the white thread on top and colored on bottom. I am hoping you went with white fabric on the back. I can hardly wait for the reveal!!!

I love this quilt! I used to quilt but haven’t quilted for several years. This has motivated me to get back to the machine. I would love to win the quilt squares and get back to doing something I used to love. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a pretty project!
