WEEKENDQUOTEequality

hey! It's Independence Day weekend in the US and Paul has today off so I'm headed out early as well – a three day weekend SPENT AT HOME?!!! Pretty sure that's the dream. Below are some fun links from this week as well as the two giveaway winners. See you Monday!

how to get cool sparkler photos.

"I’m trying to learn in the open. I’m letting others look over my shoulder while I figure things out." …love this.

a cool art resume.

can I be better about practicing slow parenting this weekend?

a sisters banner!

simple ways big Internet companies celebrated the Gay Marriage ruling last Friday.

of course The Onion uses it's redesign to mock web redesigns.

the compliment club.

and maybe the most exciting : ginger peach mocktails.

the poster winner is Andi G who said "as Californians transplanted to Michigan I can see that print brightening up our winters." and the rainbow necklace winner is Lucia who said "yay! entered." Congrats, ladies! Email me ASAP. šŸ™‚

Are you planning to write an entry on how to use the get to work book? I’m very curious about the GTWB and are thinking about ordering it myself in the future, since I love the layout and idea behind it. But I would like to know how you use it and if you have any recommendations or tips and tricks. I’ve both watched the video and the gettoworkbook hashtag like a crazy person, but I still feel like there’s something missing. I think a proper entry about the GTWB would solve this! I actually thought you would write about it more thoroughly when July started, since I assumed it was a natural part of the marketing plan.

I love that lately you’ve been taking more of these little breaks (at least, it feels like that’s changed a bit). It’s inspiring šŸ™‚
