celebrating the halfway mark of pregnancy! 20 weeks yesterday and feeling good. We were able to go in for our anatomy ultrasound yesterday and get a peek at this little one. Two arms, two legs, two hands, two feet, face, spine, belly, brain, heart…it's all there and it's all normal. What a joy to see.

waiting until the end of the month to find out the gender with our families and friends. This is 99% for sure our last kiddo and we wanted to do something a little more fun then just text everyone the news. We don't have the patience to wait until the delivery room, but we can stretch it an extra 10 days.

eating all the fruit. It's not uncommon that I think to myself "hmmmm, this is my third peach of the day" (and it's 1pm).

starting to think about turning Ellerie's room into a two-kid room. I'm so excited that these babies will share a bedroom and I have so many ideas for how to fancy things up and make them new and fun for Ellerie.

growing so many tomatoes in our backyard garden. I planted nine tomato plants originally and just added three more when my cucumbers and zucchini plants died. Next year, I'm going to JUST plant tomatoes. Twenty sounds about right.

reading The History of Love and enjoying it.

getting very close to a GET TO WORK BOOK sell out. (That is something I didn't think I would ever say when it was the middle of May.) Less than 15% of stock left and it's moving quickly. (Insert all the happy emojis here.)

speaking of emojis … the taco is coming!

working on crossing more things off my list than I add to it. The never-ending (but always rewarding) battle continues.

fighting a cold (all three of us are!) and working on getting a lot of sleep.

remembering where I was this time two years ago…anxiously waiting the arrival of Ellerie. Life feels totally different and exactly the same and for both, I am so grateful.

Ellerie’s birthday crown is the best.
At “only” 10 more days, you have way more patience than me!
So interested to read updates about having a toddler and newborn share a room. We almost attempted this, but then ended up moving into a bigger home shortly after my youngest was born (whew!). Can’t wait to see all the creativity you come up with for the space (in terms of aesthetic and function)!

Lovely photos and good to hear your pregnancy is going so well! I envy you the tomato succes – not possible in our climate though I stubbornly keep trying. ‘History of Love’is one of my favorite books ever 🙂

We did 10 tomato plants last year and it was WAY too many! Cut down to 7 this year. Though it is super easy to grow them in Ohio. We are pretty damp here in the summer (kinda like living in a crock pot).
Congrats on The GET TO WORK BOOK! I absolutely love mine and can’t wait until I can start using it!

This is such a fun group of updates! So happy for you. Our boys share a room and it’s already fun for them. I’m excited for the future as Teddy gets bigger—I’m sure the shenanigans will be endless, and I think they will be so happy to have each other so close.

Your tomatoes look fantastic so I’d say that’s a sound strategy!

we had the newborn sleeping in our bedroom until he had a good sleeping routine and them moved him to his sisters bedroom. They are now 9 and 8 and still share a room.

Wow that’s so good! Congratulations on your great sales with the Get to Work book! It’s nice to follow your plans and dreams.
It also sounds quite scary to put yourself out there and I am so happy that it is working out so well.

Our climate might not be as supportive … we do mostly cherry tomato plants because those grow best and so it’s not hard at all to get through them. 🙂

that’s what we are planning. The little one will be in our room at night for at least a few months. Ellerie was too – it was just easier that way. 🙂

Totally different and exactly the same… great way to put it. Just ordered my GTWB! Hopefully some (or a lot) of your goal-setting and organizing mojo comes with it! Maybe you could rub it on yourself before you ship it? 🙂

Congratulations on your almost “sell out”! My grand children all share rooms and they do even better together than they did alone. Ellerie will be an awesome big sister!

You deserve a hug/pat on the back for being one of the ONLY bloggers that post every (or almost every) single day… I luv it. It is such a huge pet peeve (I’m hoping not only for me but others too) when a blogger posts once, twice a month or less after we have started following them. Thank you Elise. 🙂

I have four daughters (ages 3,5,7,9) and up until almost a year ago they all shared a room. They really enjoyed it and it was nice seeing their bond grow from sharing a space. Now they are split into two rooms and sometimes they insist on a “sleepover” in one room. Makes my mama heart melt!
