Fortheloveofapril

j.crew straw hat, hello DIY plant stand tutorial, three potato four key tag, the bee and the fox mama bird tee, mrs. b's kitchen peanut butter & dark chocolate cupcakes, Joni Tyrrell for Minted pineapple print, fall for DIY beaded necklace, west elm atelier stella vases.

All over the place this month…couldn't find a theme and then I remembered Mother's Day! Less than a month away. Some sweet and simple gifts to accompany breakfast in bed or better yet, the gift of sleeping in.

This week on ELISE GETS CRAFTY I am chatting with Allie and Claire, co-authors of the eBook Charge Up! for Introverts. I identify as an introvert FOR SURE and this was a fun discussion for me. Subscribe or stream here!

Speaking of introverts – have you read the book ‘Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Won’t Stop Talking’ by Susan Cain? Fascinating stuff!

You, an introvert? Had no idea. You have so much energy. You must take really good care of yourself.

YES! I spend almost all of my time alone. (or with P and E which doesn’t really count…)

I loved the book Quiet also. Introverts unite…individually. I am even more inspired by you and your business knowing this. It seems extroverts have an advantage in business but you are a good example of the focus, patience and perseverance that introverts have. Thanks for all you share.

    Elise,
I super loved this podcast and plan to listen again. I am a working mom for a large company with zero autonomy so sometimes I space out during the business parts of the chats but this one applied to me regardless! I always thought I was an extrovert (and maybe at one time I was) but now that I have kids I find myself more introverted. I could relate deeply with Ali chatting about stress regarding to travel & needing downtime between social events to recharge. I do best if I have some alone time to create or just be. Without that I wither! Thank you for introducing me to these lovely ladies!

Oh my gosh! I just finished listening to the latest Podcast and here I am on the blog! Thank you so much for including my bead tutorial in the round up today 😀
I definitely sympathise with finding travelling difficult as an introvert. I’ve passed up some amazing opportunities before because of this. I’m going to take on some of the ideas in the podcast to combat these feelings in the future! Thanks for yet another fantastic chat!
