This has been BY FAR my longest runway to launch but it’s also miles more legit than anything I’ve done. Even the prototype that I shot for this pre-order is amazing. The real book?! It’s going to be spectacular.

The first version covers July 2015 – June 2016, costs $55 USD and ships worldwide in early June. (There will absolutely be a 2016 version. And a July 2016 – June 2017. And 2017… you get the idea.)

I am so grateful for your support and excitement for this project so far. It’s always amazing to turn an idea into reality but this book there is something extra special about this book and my plans for this new brand. I super want one of these, but I’m on a annual calendar cycle, not an academic year cycle, and I can’t cope with the idea of leaving my current planner half-finished. Will you have an 2016 calendar year version next year? (fingers crossed)

As a teacher I am super pumped about this! I love the simple, clean design (not traditionally teachery-ish in the best sense). As well as the monthly calendar, weekly spreads, and reflection portion. I pre-ordered the minute I saw the full two page monthly spread because it is exactly what I need and use and can never find with traditional planners. I’m so inspired by the project pages and it has my teacher-brain swirling with concepts and ideas for how to utilize in my planning/preparing/creating each month. I hope you keep the idea of the academic calendar for all of us educators who know a good product when we see one 🙂

So – I was not in to the Get To Work book as a purchase – I loved reading about it because I nerd out over behind the scenes things – but I didn’t think it really meshed with me and how I do things.
Then I watched the video and I am totally sold! It’s exactly the thing I wished existed (so much space for to do lists!)
So well done – you have converted me completely! It has also already got me thinking about using it to take on projects that I previously would not have!

Amazing work and beautiful, clean, inspirational design– I am so impressed! Its very you (I love your blog and have been cheering for you for well before your precious little Ellerie arrived…)! I have sent links out to my uber-organized friends and sister… only sadness is that since I am in the process of a divorce, single mom, blah blah blah– I think I’m going to have to wait for the 2016 version. I am so excited for this and just pre-ordered. I plan to get a 2016 calendar year version when those are available too. The guts of this planner look like exactly what I need – plenty of room to write without all the extra fluff that most planners have. Two things that worry me a tad: the spiral coil on my Erin Condren planner is more durable than the coils on these look, and the heavy-duty laminated cover on the Erin Condren and the plastic covers on the Plum Planners seem to be more durable than the chipboard covers. My planner goes in and out of my bag every day, so I’m worried about the coil bending and the edges of the chipboard getting roughed up. Just some things to think about for future versions (if you haven’t already). Huge congrats Elise!

Also – I can’t tell you how many different planners/notebooks/agendas I have tried over the years that have failed me for different reasons…but I think you may have just designed the best one yet. Yay Elise! Congrats on the beautiful book!
Do you think you’d ever offer something like this that holds the workbook portions (without the calendar)? I have a calendar system already, but would definitely be interested in a small notebook that would fit in my purse that I could use for journaling, brainstorming, writing down goals and to do lists. 🙂

Hey Nicole! Thanks for your order and sharing your concerns! Durability is huge to me too!! The coil in real life feels strong but I would love your feedback after you’ve used it a bit. The cover was one of my concerns based on the prototype and so there is a plan in the works to double the thickness before your books are printed. I’m really hoping that finishes them off perfectly!
Sadly, chipboard isn’t going to be as strong as plastic but maybe for future editions I can look into getting it wax coated or something! It’s a work in progress that I think is really close to perfection! I would LOVE your feedback as you use it. 🙂
