hey friends! We were in Las Vegas for a few days and then we took Ellerie to Disneyland for a few. I’m looking forward to spending the next four days eating home-cooked meals and catching up a bit (partly on work, but mostly on House of Cards). The line from your post last week about taking email off your phone, “I feel more like a human and less like a robot,” has really stuck with me. I’m also making changes in how much online time I have, and how much in-person time I have with my family, and it’s feeling amazing! Happy weekending and human-time-ing, Elise. 🙂

I’d love to see your travel pics! And, i can so appreciate the need to settle in and just “be” this weekend after so much travel and work. this past weekend, I traveled to Washington, DC for “ONE.org Power Summit”. It was amazing to learn and be with people who think and feel similarly about humanitarian issues… but, man i’m tired now!!! we all need that balance, right? One of the first things i did yesterday was catch up on your blog. 🙂
