WORK : I finally got the digital stamps created and into the shop. This was only eight months in the making. You can purchase here. And if you're like me and don't really know what digital stamps are, you can watch this video tutorial about how to install them (on to your mac) and see a few simple ways to play around with them. I was blown away with the versatility of digital stamps. I can't believe I waited this long. Only eight bucks for the full set, folks.

PLAY : Paul and I went to the Bastille concert this week. It's the second concert we attended together and only my fourth concert ever (I know, that's embarrassing). I'm a huge fan of the Bastille album and it was so fun to see them live. I need to have more fun in 2015. Adding that to the list in Sharpie as we speak. 😉

WORK : I ordered that JUST START stamp for future packaging and when I shared a photo on IG got some interest so for just a few days you can purchase one here. Seriously. Just a few days. Sale ends Wednesday at midnight PST and then that's it. Maybe the next stamp will be JUST FINISH.

PLAY : I'm knitting away on my second sweater. Can't wait to share how the first turned out on the blog next week. I'm also working on an encouraging post for new moms. I so wish I had read this post 16 months ago. But, knowing where I was at back then, I wouldn't have believed a word of it.

WORK : I'm doing a lot of back and forth with my killer GET TO WORK BOOK designers and the results are going to be pretty fantastic. If you're into the instagram thing and want to follow along, I've created a separate account @gettoworkbook. Down the line, I see this as a business account where I can share user photos of the book, motivational stuff, behind the scenes, updates etc.

PLAY : the Serial podcast. STOP IT RIGHT NOW. I think this week's was one of the best episodes yet. It captured the human factor in away the others have not for me. I cried more than once.

WORK : I ordered stickers (from Sticker Giant) to include as part of the December edition of MAKE29. I adore a good sticker and these are perfect for what I have planned. I think I'm going to make "free gift with purchase" stickers a big part of GET TO WORK BOOK. And maybe our Christmas cards this year. And maybe all mail I send out forever.

PLAY : we are headed up to Northern California this afternoon to watch some football and drink some good coffee. So very excited to see some friends and get a night with Paul in the city. I'll be up bright and early tomorrow morning to list the knit blankets and then it's game time.

Ah! Such a good Serial teaser. 🙂 My husband and I listen to it together on car rides, and we’re waiting until tomorrow when we commute an hour together. Yes yes yes!
Love this work and life post. I just started a series on work + life balance today! Funny timing.
Happy weekend, and yes to more time for fun and play.

I was tempted to go to the Bastille concert when they were in Phoenix earlier in the year, but it sold out before I think I even realized they were coming! In any case, I feel like I’m getting old, because although I enjoy live shows, when I think of concerts, I think to myself, “Why are they so loud?!” 😀

Thursday is usually my designated podcast day at work but too many distractions. I will have to listen today! Four concerts ever?! I haven’t added to my wardrobe in years, but concerts? I am there.

It’s probably the best marketing ever — the JUST START concept got in my head, and I thought “well, I better just click order right now.” 😉 Pretty stoked about it.

I am so excited that someone else is also following Serial! (I also plan on donating cause I definitely want them around for another season.) There’s so many inconsistencies. Grrr it drives me crazy! lol
Also, very much looking forward to the workbook. Do you have a rough idea of when it will be available?
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Stay warm 🙂

Those stickers. I need one. I vowed I wouldn’t stick stuff on my new computer, but I might have to make an exception.

So the stamps work either with Photoshop or PSE? There aren’t two different versions based on the software you have, right?

    Hey Elise!
I was just wondering where I can go to create/buy a custom stamp? (not digital)
I want to create a stamp for my logo, to use on promotional materials, and was wondering how this can be done.
    Thanks and enjoy the football!

I love everything! I am already excited to learn more about the Make29 December edition! Even when I dont buy, its fun to follow along, but it would be cool to add another edition to my collection! And the gettoworkbook is already on my next year’s wish list 😉 love the stamp, too, I cant get the prase ‘just start’ out of my head! But at the moment my budget doesnt allow me to purchase, so I will just enjoy the pictures!

Hi, just wondering if the gettoworkbook format will be compatible with other planner binders? Or is it a book? I am very interested in the content, but have a favourite leather planner binder I would want to use…(which has six rings, similar to filofax I think). Thanks!

Great video, I just had to get them, they will also work with the Silhouette. They will be great on 3×4 cards for PL. I have to say that I really enjoy following your blog. Your enthusiasm is infectious! I am old enough to be your mom, but i appreciate the wisdom of your years as you grow in your business and navigate those lines between mom, wife and entrepreneur. I love the podcasts as well. It is so encouraging to hear how people are stepping up to make their way in the world.
Blessings to you and your family this Thanksgiving!

I can’t wait to read your new mama post. I’m three months in and nobody told me how hard this would be…well maybe they did but I couldn’t fathom what they meant! Thank you for sharing your story, it has helped already reading Paul, Ellerie and your journey of two to three.
    So, thanks 🙂

Great job! It’s awesome to “learn” a new craft. It really makes you appreciate an awesome knitted sweater! I have only done a little (many scarves, a blanket) but also several (about 10) felted wool purses. All sizes. It is amazing how following a pattern can make something so awesome. I hope you make a felted project some time. They are so much fun.
