I always look through your links, love esp. the knowledge articles and links, but I agree with you. Ali’s daily photos for WITL is super inspiring and fun to watch. I could probably follow her blog just for those!

Oh, and your WDS speach – SO good Elise, soooooo good. I was so inspired by what you said but also knowing how nervous you were before, and still you managed to do it so well. THAT is inspirational!

Love this line from the 101 Cookbook post… ‘You can’t just show up and borrow a point of view, the challenge is to develop your own, and it takes time and intent.’

Shauna Niequist is such a beautifully compelling woman to listen to. She did a video for MOPS International which wet watched in September that had me tearing up. She shares her message, and she makes you want to listen to her more and more.

Loved this quote from Heidi/101 cookbooks, as you mentioned, characterizing her blog as her practice. “Contributing something new each week helps me develop in areas that I find important creatively – cooking, writing, taking photographs – and the only way I’m able to grow is through experience, experimentation, and regular practice.” That’s so inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

I really loved that post from 101 Cookbooks. I sometimes ask myself why I keep blogging, and she answered that question beautifully.

Yes! So good. After a few recommendations I started listening to it on the train last week. I had only just started and told my husband about it, and he told me to wait so we can listen to them all together. 🙂

I wish those slap bracelets had measuring tape in them…gave some to students froma treasure box and a curious boy took his apart to find sharp metal. He got a pretty serious cut form it. So be careful if you get one to wear!
