Hey, long time no word dump.

What a crazy July. Work hard (WDS), play hard (also WDS and a bachelorette party in Austin). Compared to that, August is going to be a breeze (unless an opportunity I cannot say no to is planning to fall from the sky).

Thank you for your kind words these last few weeks on the WDS speaking posts. It's been really fun to share. Many of you (like my parents) have been asking if a recording of the talk will be online and yes, it will for sure. But I heard it might be awhile. When it's up I will be sure to share a link.

And thanks for a great July MAKE29 launch. I am so happy to see the dive deep prints be well received and headed out into the world. I'm halfway through this project and very inspired about what's still to come. I have been working hard on a lot more MAKING for the second half of the year. It's time consuming, but awesome. I am also hoping to get a MAKE29 "print pack" listed in the shop soon (there is a peek in the photos above) for those of you that missed a month or are just interested in some smaller pieces.

Today we're headed to…

Just kidding. This weekend we're sitting still. Paul is working tomorrow but has Sunday off. I might take a nap. I'm sure some grilling will occur. I have a few tomatoes that need to be picked. I've got a fitbit that won't walk itself. My baby girl is at the perfect age for hugs, kisses and jungle animal impressions.

Looking good, weekend. Looking excellent, coming soon month of August. Let's roll.

I am so loving following along with your Make29 adventure. I have a strict budget this year, so I haven’t been able to snag everything, but you and your creativity are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing so that all of us can follow along.
    Happy Weekend!!

I am so excited to get my Dive Deep print. I’ve got a lot of change coming up, both personally and professionally, and it’s going to force me to dive really deep to find the strength and resiliency to get through it.

Make something with pineapples! My teenager and her friends are obsessed with them due to their favorite show Psych.

Need to let you know how much I enjoy your Podcast, I have been listening from day one. Continue to deliver the content you want, that is why I enjoy it so much, otherwise it is contrived and unauthentic. Keeping it real as Cathy says. Love seeing your sweet baby girl grow, I remember this moment in time so well. I have two girls 16 and 13. I am blown away by how quickly our little cherubs grow up, in a blink of an eye-so unreal. Loved all the games I played with my girls, never thought of capturing them in a photo. Thanks to your picture of you daughter I am back to that moment in time. Soak it all in Elise. Have an amazing weekend with your family. I did hear you mention that you live in San Diego, is your husband in the Navy? My sister and Brother in Law are there as well. His name is Admiral John Neagley and my Sister in Lynn Neagley. It would be too funny if you all knew them. Take care and enjoy life.

Print packs for Make29 are the BEST idea ever!! I already can’t wait. It’s perfect for those of us that missed some (specifically the ampersands we all died over!) lol. I hope you don’t limit the sales on those to 290…I already know I’ll need to buy a couple sets so I can use in Project Life/mini books/corkboards around the house!!
    Thanks for sharing :]

Hi! I’ve never commented before, but have been following your blog for about 5 months or so. Just wanted to say though, that recently, I’m just falling in love with your posts more and more! From the E and e, the totally inspiring way you’ve taken up this project this year of making and selling, have LOVED the way you’ve broken down the prep for your speech, and the photo books – LOVE. lol. Basically, thanks for being an inspiring person. Our fam’s life is in Thailand and it’s pretty awesome to be able to sit down and follow a story of someone doing an incredible job at momhood, and lifehood and all that 😉 even when friends aren’t super accessible right around me every day. Ok. Novel over. Thanks again!

We’ll have to come up with a hash tag on IG to share how we use them! I LOVE paper. Even before project life and as a teen I was always cutting out pretty fonts/words/quotes from magazines and creating inspiration boards and making collages on cork boards 🙂 that’s why the first thing I thought of when I saw the photo packs picture was “ooooh I want to use that in project life pockets!” lol 🙂

OMG, that’s even a better idea! I don’t have instagram myself (due to crappy cellphone) but I’d love to see what other people would make from these stacks!! 🙂
