Towards the end of the summer last year I wrote a post about maxi dresses. It was one of my favorite shopping posts to pull together because maxis are one of my favorite things to shop for (and, of course, to wear). On Monday I snagged this one on sale at Nordstrom (the color is so much better in real life & it says it runs large, but remember it's juniors sizing so really it's true to size) and I figured it was time to do another round-up.

I like so many of these! I like to avoid having to do a strapless bra, and it can be hard to find ones that don’t have spaghetti straps, but I really like the black one — and the skirt!

I LOVE Lush dresses. I have this one in 3 different solid colors. The only thing I don’t like is that they are dry clean only (and yes, I still put another one in the washing machine and ended up with more of a midi length dress…).
I really want maxi skirts to work for me but I haven’t been able to find the right one yet. I’m a pear shape and they cling weird and emphasize my largest part 😦
