It was quite a week (or non-week) around here with the frequent Typepad (my blog host) outages. I am sorry if you tried to access the blog or an old post and had issues these past few days. There are still some bugs, like pinning from posts is acting strange and sometimes comments fail, but I expect things will get back to normal soon. If you missed any posts this week, here they are:

Outside of blogland, the April edition of MAKE29 was a hit (thank you!) and my garage is currently storing a PALLET of shipping supplies for May's edition. We're going big or going home next month and I'm super excited about it.

And my newest eCourse, USE YOUR STASH, launched through A Beautiful Mess this week. This is a go-at-your-own-pace crash course that features 8 lessons written by me and 15 never before seen projects. My goal is to encourage you to stop staving STUFF and start saving MEMORIES. I did a giant purge of product before I started working on these projects and a giant purge after and both felt awesome, but not as great as playing with paper and putting some stuff to use. A peek at the layouts can be seen in that last photo above and you can sign up for the course here.

Have a great weekend! I plan to play in the garden (how is that so fun?), chase Ellerie around the house (how is she so fast?) and make it through an issue of Vanity Fair (how are the articles so long?).

Cheers!

ps that Pantone COLORS book Ellerie is so diligently studying is this one.

Hello Elise, so glad to finally be able to post. I am new here and coming from your class at BPS, Project Life Challenges. Loving the class and am learning so much, inspired and excited about putting the new prompts into my pages.
What a beautiful little girl you have, her name is too. Happy Anniversary, love the photos you shared since I am new here and haven’t seen them.
YAY for the garden, it looks amazing the way it’s set. We garden too and can’t wait for the warm weather to come and get start on it.
Love the Around Here photos, I do this on my blog too and it’s a personal favorite.
So nice to meet you and get to know you. Curious what this 29 thing is, will check it out.
    Happy weekend!

That photo of Ellerie studying the Pantone book is priceless! How awesome is she? Very curious now about May’s Make29 offering. Sounds like a fun weekend ahead. I hope to start my research and start compiling things for my container garden. Michelle t

When I hit my four-year dating anniversary I thought of it as a college education!

just curious… when you purge, do you donate the re-usable? or do you just trash it? When I purge, I find I have lots of unused stickers sheets or uncut paper. I wonder is there a place to put it then the trash (or recycle bin).

I love this series. You do such a great job of showing glimpses into your life in this very personal way without it seeming too personal. If that makes sense?
    Love it!

Vanity Fair is a favorite of mine, but yeah, the articles are definitely on the long side. I definitely feel like I’ve learned something after reading one. Same with Rolling Stone. Have a fabulous weekend.

I do a lot of giveaways on twitter of the stuff that is in great condition. I donate the gently used to goodwill and the disaster stuff goes in the recycle bin. 🙂

elise, can i just say how much i appreciate that your keep your class and product costs at a reasonable dollar amount, i mean $8 is so awesome. there are many great classes online but most times so pricey and yours are so affordable and fun while actually teaching us something different. thanks for that. have a great weekend 🙂

Haha, the way you describe your marriage! Never thought of it to describe something like that, but it’s a great idea 😉

I agree about the price of your e-class-it can’t be beat! I just printed it off and am going to relax tonight by reading it through. I took the Project Life class last fall and got so many ideas so I jumped at this class. Thanks!

I started to propogate my succulents based off the blog you linked (love). And they are sitting in the pots like yours as I wait for blooms to peek. But nothing seems to be going on:( some look like they’re dying and I can’t decide if I should spray a little water on them. How often do you water in this stage?

🙂 I am going to be raising prices a little though on make29 projects. I have to keep in mind what LIMITED edition means for consumers AND for me as a small-business owner. 🙂

nothing is going on for mine either… I think the leaves have to dry out COMPLETELY for new growth to happen. I am pretty sure in the tutorial she recommends to not water until you see blooms.

I’ve been equally frustrated with Typepad this week, but it is what it is (there were many deep-breathing sessions as I tried over and over to access my blog stuff). I’m super excited for your crash course with ABM! You are one talented and never-ending inspiration!

I’ve already purchased you Use Your Stash eCourse, and I’m completing your Project Life Lessons class for a second time. I have to say, I always enjoy your classes since you come up with such awesome projects. I also love that you just get in and get them done, rather than stressing over them and constantly changing things 🙂
