Offie
Office

I'm deep in the process of clearing out the office so that the new floors can be laid and new storage and workspaces can come in. This change is desperately needed but the trouble is, work doesn't exactly stop while I move things around. It's going to be a bit of challenge to keep everything humming, but it will be so worth to start fresh in this new space. Since deadlines tend to be my friend, my goal is to have it set to go by December 1…I'll be sure to keep you posted.

So while the office is in shambles, here are some a few links to rad things I have seen on the always well-organized Internet…

I picked up this wooden camera for Ellerie at the queen bee market (so fun, btw!) and it should be appearing in this etsy shop soon.

In case you're looking for a new book to read. (I was surprised to see I'd read 15 of the 32.)

These color palettes are so interesting. Without a doubt I'd pick warm, cool, soft & cool.

I've recently spent too much time searching for "chunky yarn" on etsy.

It's early, I know, but I love these DIY felt ornaments.

Maybe I'll get to make these for a party someday.

This bread will be made the next time I'm feeling ambitious in the kitchen.

Every time I stick Ellerie in this onesie I remember I need to blog a link.

This has made the rounds many times, but stand up job, West Elm.

Gorgeous photos of the morning.

Did you see Kal's courage temporary tattoos are back in stock?

This embroidery, yes embroidery, is thrilling to me.

I invested in two of these for the office and am relived to have some of the paper piles sorted.

Have you seen the stenciled file cabinet on twotwentyone.net? It’s fabulous, and I am painting and stenciling my own file cabinet as soon as we move. So excited! Can’t wait to see your newish office.

I have several of the books on that list but couldn’t get through any of them. So they sit on my shelf in the hopes that one day I will be able to read them.

I love that West Elm is not going to sell ripped off ideas in their stores, but as for Lisa Congdon, it appears she is also guilty of ripping off other artists- please take a minute to read this article before you throw your support behind her.

I had my “colors” done using that method — in 1985 🙂
I am a Winter — cool, jewel tones, black and white look best on me.
Sometimes I wish I could wear caramel or cream… fall tones…

I too am getting intrigued by embroidery. Several years ago I had sold most of my hoops, floss and fabric only keeping the bare minimum. Now I’m stitching some cute little fall images and have had to rebuy much of what I had sold! Live and learn! Enjoy!

I love embroidery! It’s totally easy to learn and, in my opinion, easier than knitting and crocheting. I think you would like it. 🙂
