Congratulations!!! Labor is long and tough… And I love that you added “humbling”. Isn’t that the truth?! I have 3 kids, and with each one – I loved pregnancy and hated… I’ll say it… hated getting them out. It was beyond hard. In fact, the first one did me in so badly I didn’t even hold her until the 2nd day. Which is terrible, awful, but it did a number on me mentally – that I was definitely not prepared for. I say all that ONLY because its nice to know you’re not the only one sometimes. Ellerie is GORGEOUS. Her name is BEAUTIFUL. And she is going to bless you a billion times over as you fall in love with her even more deeply every day. May you recover well and have a lovely time together – the three of you – over the next several days. God bless.
