…sometimes patiently, sometimes not.
It has been really wonderful to have these past few days as two. Because I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and am therefore considered higher risk, there is a plan in place so I do not go too far past my estimated due date. We are comfortable with this and are so excited that the next part of our adventure will be starting soon.

i went two days past my date and i am pretty sure i was the worst version of myself for those two days. could not stop moaning and grumping and whining about how the baby was “never ever going to come.” it can be so hard to stay patient, although i think most handle it far more gracefully than i did. thinking of you!

It’s the craziest thing – I feel like I know you. And I feel like I’m waiting for a friend to have her baby. So glad that Paul is home and that he will be there for you during her arrival! Praying she comes soon and arrives quickly.

Good luck whenever she decides to come (or you decide that she needs to). I got induced with my last two and if you choose that route know it is not horrible. I had wonderful deliveries with both. Praying for you.

Waiting is so hard. When you’re at that point… when you can’t really get any more ready, and you’re on the cusp of such a life change that one can’t ever truly prepare for… all three of my kids were at least 10 days overdue and ohhhh did I get antsy. I am thinking of you.

Paul is cool as a cucumber because he is not the one going to give birth and even though you have read books and he will be with you it is not knowing how this is all going to work. I’m sure if he had to get a watermelon out of his belly through the lower part he might not be as cool as a cucumber….come on baby girl, lets get this party started…..Mummy has had enough and wants to meet you. I am rooting for you both. I feel like i know you and that a good friend of mine is getting ready to have a baby. I have been checking my feeds a couple times a day. Don’t worry the baby will come, they always do. In the meantime just rest up, going into labor fully rested is the best thing. I have done it both ways, and I definitely preferred the rested labor.
