It's week twenty-one and I love this project. (Heads up … I plan to stay pretty up to date with PL and this update posts until the little one arrives.)

Week of : May 20 – May 27.

What happened this week? I was home, enjoying the new space that was finally good to go. My friend, Ann-Marie, came to visit and was super kind to take some photos of the the house and me in it. Photos this week are, of course, mostly of the house. And lots of bump shots.

Anything special in the spread? This week I got to play around with the stamps I designed for Studio Calico. I used one on almost every 3×4 card.

Techniques this week : Nothing super special. I went with my stamping stand-by and used the triangle stamp over and over to create a pattern on the "EPIC" 3×4 card. Epic is such a hilarious word and it was fun to have a photo that made a joke of it.

Overall thoughts : I am still totally obsessed with this project. BUT MAN, am I excited to have Paul home and baby girl here and this album full of photos of them.

Ratio of iPhone photos to "real camera" photos : 6 to 4.

Plwk21detail2

Ratio of photos taken by Elise to photos taken by Paul : All Elise & 2 (top right) by Ann-Marie.

Supplies used : Seafoam core kit, Studio Calico 4×6 stamp set, Studio Calico Project Life kit (make something transparency), Freckled Fawn arrow wood chip, Kelly Purkey letter stickers.

Tools used : Design A pocket pages, 5×7 pocket page, Fiskars corner rounder, Zig Millenium pen, Rotatrim paper trimmer, Office Depot date stamp, staz-on ink. All photos were printed at home on my HP Photosmart 2575 printer on Office Depot semi-gloss photo paper.

Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. I use photos, text and stuff to document our life weekly. You can see all the posts from 2012 here and 2013 here. Do you have a question about how I am tackling this project (including anything about the photos)? Check here.

I love that photo of you with the dresser. Somehow it captures all your anticipation, as well as all the planning you’ve done… it’s a beautiful photo that celebrates the fact that she’s almost here!

Your nursery is so cute, I love it every time I see it in your pictures. I just found out that I’m going to be an aunt to a little girl, and I’m really hoping my sister in law lets me help with the decorating! I can’t wait.

I read your blog daily! I’m kinda sad when there is nothing new, your inspirational you know. So I’ll miss your blogging but it’s for the best reason ever! My June girl turns 17 this month, so from one mom to another, soak in every moment you can! She is what matters, we can wait for you ( and her 😉 )

How awesome to have photos of you in your new house that you don’t have to take yourself! I bet it’s been nice having visitors, too! And your stamp set is awesome… I’ve already brought the digital version 🙂
