It's week sixteen and I love this project.

Week of : April 15 – April 21.
What happened this week? I was home with not too much going on for the week and then the weekend was busy with an event in LA, my baby shower and Disneyland with Paul's family.
Anything special in the spread? A baby shower insert. Two actually. The first is a 5×7 pocket page that holds the handmade invite.
The second is a trimmed down Design D pocket page that I used to hold 3 4×6 photos, a journaling card from the baby kit and 8 3×4 photos. I kept the insert SUPER simple and just focused on fun photos from the party.
Techniques this week : Machine-stiching on more than a few cards. I also stapled some sequins on to the extra white space in that baby belly photo.
Overall thoughts : Moving right along. I had to go back this week to make this spread and as always, playing catch-up is overwhelming to me. I am always so glad when I get it done though.
Ratio of iPhone photos to "real camera" photos : 8 to 16.
Ratio of photos taken by Elise to photos taken by Paul : 11 to 2. But also 11 taken by my friend Katy!
Supplies used : Seafoam core kit, Project Life baby edition, Kelly Purkey Project Life kit (letter stickers & hello Spring vellum), Paislee Press Hello card (printed by me on kraft cardstock), Chic Tags file tab, Evalicious journaling tag.
Tools used : Design A pocket pages, Design D pocket page, 5×7 pocket page, Fiskars corner rounder, Zig Millenium pen, Rotatrim paper trimmer, Office Depot date stamp, staz-on ink. All photos were printed at home on my HP Photosmart 2575 printer on Office Depot semi-gloss photo paper.
Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. I use photos, text and stuff to document our life weekly. You can see all the posts from 2012 here and 2013 here. Do you have a question about how I am tackling this project (including anything about the photos)? Check here.
