Pretty quiet week. Getting organized. Getting photos together for a new project. Getting our postage stamp of a lawn mowed. Getting fabric sewn. Getting settled. Also getting a bit tired. I am feeling under the weather and looking forward to a simple do nothing weekend. It's one of my last on the schedule for awhile and I plan on soaking it up.

Have a good one.

Awesome awesome! It looks like you’re getting ready for a photo wall. I’m planning one myself – picking out photos, planning the size, and hubby thinks it is so fine (yet so far outside of his box that it just makes my heart patter for him all the more).
stay well and have a restful weekend.

So many photos! Can’t wait to see the finished product 🙂
I LOL’d a little bit at the photo of the push lawn mower! My husband and I recently moved into our first house (as adults, anyway) and balked at the price of electric lawn mowers at Home Depot the other weekend. We live in a townhouse, the end-unit, so our yard is bigger than others but still pretty tiny. Pretty sure we’re going to go with a push lawn mower, too, and count on the kids to rake up all the grass and dump it in our DIY compost bin we built a few weeks ago 🙂
    Happy restful weekend!

Hey Elise – love your photo sneaks! Question – where did you find that textured holder the white potted plant is sitting in on the top photo? Looks Ikea like….hope so!

Hi Elise! My daughter directed me to your blog a few months ago and I’ve been following you ever since. I’ve gotta say, I love, love, love your blog and your style. You more than deserve a break… I hope you are able to do nothing but rest for a few days – you’ve been very busy. Quick question for you about the pictures you’re using for your upcoming project (can’t wait to see it by the way), they look like 4×4 pics. Would you mind sharing the site you ordered them through? I’d love to order 4×4 pics online. Take care and get lots of rest! Thanks for sharing your blog with all of us!!

Hi Elise…hope you and baby girl get some good rest this weekend. I had a question about the pictures in your photo, too. I would love to know where and how you ordered these. I only use iPhoto for my pictures (don’t know anything about Photoshop or other fancy software), but would love to order square prints.
I also just got an iPhone and thought maybe there was a way to order directly from there without going into iPhoto. Just curious.
Enjoy your weekend, and that b/w quilt looks awesome!

I used to have a push mower like that and one day it got stolen! I was pleased to see the back of it, they are back breaking to use! Hope yours is easier!

I knitted it! No pattern just a hope that it would fit something. Its made with string and not yarn so the texture is fun. If I can figure out how I did it, I will share a tutorial. 🙂

Love the push mower…we will have to invest in one come spring. This is the first place we’ve lived where we are responsible for maintaining the lawn!
I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend!

I loved my little push mower, so much easier to maneuver and no engine to maintain! It would be perfect for a little postage stamp lawn (ours was quite a bit bigger).
Love the weekends when there is no where to go, nothing to do, no work (I work every other at the hospital) and you can just truly take a break and relax 🙂 Enjoy it!!

I hope you and bub enjoy your weekend off! It looks like you’ve had a flat out few weeks with the move and getting settled in, so you certainly deserve it! You house looks like it’s coming together amazingly, and I love how your quilt is shaping up! The black and white triangles are amazing! I can’t wait to see what you do with the photos as well… I think they look great together!

Love your photos as always. 🙂 I have to ask…how do you like your push mower? Is it pretty easy to use? My husband and I just bought our first house and I’m seriously considering getting one. I’d love to hear what you think of yours! Have a great day.

It is super easy to use. But we have a TINY lawn. It would be much more effort with a large patch of grass. 🙂
