Week 51 and we’re nearly done.

It’s almost like the end of an era.

Left side is pretty standard. Photos & collected stuff. Loved that little Santa face card from Meredith’s holiday pop up shop. Still using lots of labels and writing directly onto “white space” in photos. I am sure that will continue in 2013.

And more of the same on the right. I used a card from the baby kit to document some thoughts from our Doctor’s appointment on Wednesday. The “jolly” card is a transparency also from Meredith’s shop. I will keep it as the only thing in the pocket next week and love how it looks when the page is turned too.

One week left. Ideally, I’ll get that up next Sunday then ADIOS 2012. Bring on 2013.

supplies / Paper Source
circle labels, Evalicious journaling spot, Mer Tilton holiday pop-up shop cards, Hambly circle patterned paper, Office Depot date stamp, Martha Stewart &
Avery labels, Design A page protectors, Project Life baby core kit, soon to be released Seafoam Kit, I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it’s not amazing, but it’s lasted the longest of any corner rounder I’ve ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

As always- I love your project life. You are so inspiring! How long do you spend on average a week? I always seem to be so behind!

    Are you going to do a 30th and 31st spread for 2012? I tihnk I’m going to do those two days on the back of the last layout. {I don’t have a kit so I don’t have a ‘back page’ set of cards.}

I love the pic of the stamps on the envelopes! Super cute. The transaparency is awesome too! I think it’s so cute you including the pics of the baby bump as well… Are you going to do that weekly? I think that would be something awesome to see the changes each week!

Yep! That is the plan to include a weekly photo of the bump. 🙂

Any suggestions for those of us waiting for your Seafoam kit? I don’t want to start out two weeks behind if the kits aren’t here! I’m stretching my luck trying to do PL anyway! I’m sure I don’t have time, but I’m going to CHOOSE to do it. 😉 Since I’ve never done it before, I’m not sure if I should just keep a journal and take some photos and try to put it all together once the kit arrives, or if I should try to do it without…?? Thoughts?

This is what I’m going to do… I have the page protectors (Design A, like what Elise uses). For your date card, you can either wait for the kit to show up or you could do something similar to what Elise did for 2012. Waiting for the 2013 kit isn’t going to stop me from printing my photos and slipping them into my page protectors. For my 2012 P.L. album, I pretty much worked without a kit. I didn’t use a lot of journaling cards. What I did use a lot of was those Martha Stewart labels that I got from Staples. They are a must have for my documentation on top of my photos. I hope this help. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an e-mail at libbimoore@gmail.com

I know you’ve said it’s tedious to do these posts so I just wanted to say Thanks today for putting it up! Its just the inspiration I needed to finish up 2012! I can’t wait for 2013, ready to kiss 2012 good-bye!! Excited for the Seafoam kit, it’s the kit I’ve been holding out for, just my style! So excited!!! Thanks for designing such an awesome kit!
…and orange gearle, I’m going to just start putting my pictures in place, maybe a few notes on sticky notes over the pockets or use blank grid cards I already have, then fill in the blanks with the SeaFoam Kit once it arrives, really won’t be a big deal at all.

There have been a couple great suggestions already! I would put post its to remind you what you want to stick where and make notes on scratch paper for what you want to say. Putting it together in the early days is the best part, and printing photos is the boring part so I would say, if you keep up with photo printing you will be so good to go when it arrives. 🙂

I’ve just recently discovered your blog! And WOW is the best word I can come up with. I am doing Project Life also and you have made it so much easier than I thought it would be.
Thank you very much for the downloads too!
    Merry Christmas

What kind of paper do you use for the quote cards? And if you don’t mind sharing, where you got it at too, please.
