Week 48 and I still love this project.

Some spreads, like this one, end up MUCH too "Elise Focused." This week, I blame the running shots and am going to work to do better to get more Paul into the album for the rest of December and of course in 2013.

But, I decided to use my #mileaday photos because it was the first full week of running a mile each day. I love how they look like little trading cards. I just printed them 3×4 and added an American Crafts thicker with the day's letter on top. Seriously love this format even more that the instagram squares. I do not think I'll continue including them like this for the duration of the challenge, but it was fun this week.

Instead of a "traditional" quote card this week, I trimmed down a letterpress card from my girlfriend. It's still black and white and I loved the message (especially in reference to running).

I added some extra felt stars from the tree garland to a pocket and will leave that pocket blank on the backside so they show through.

And that's it! Onward…

supplies / Paper Source
circle labels, Hambly patterned overlay, Office Depot date stamp & arrow paper clip, Amy Tangerine letter Thickers, Martha Stewart & Avery labels, Design A page protectors, I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

I love the running shots. Do you stop at some random time during the run to take a photo or do you do the pic at the beginning or end?

I wish I could be a runner. I’ve tried so many times and every time I see your little pics I so badly want to do it. I think the “me” centered pages are wonderful because so many times we create pages about the others in our lives and I am really trying harder to make sure to make more “me” pages!! Good luck and keep on running!! 🙂

I love your sense of design. I really want to do project life for 2013 but amazon won’t ship the items to Australia. I am so upset as I was really looking forward to it. Any ideas?

I agree, the “me” problem is a good problem to have. I find that lots of folks focus on others and not on themselves enough.

You can actually buy the items through Craft House, in NZ, and they ship to Aust (http://crafthouse.co.nz/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=110_111). I’ve brought a few things from there and had them sent over. It works out a bit more expensive, but their items include the shipping in the price as well.

Good on you for the running goal, I’m getting back to normal workouts again this week, and feel really excited about it! I think the felt garland is adorable, can’t wait to borrow the idea for our tree;)

I love your running cards, such a great intro into the challenge of running each day until new years! They look fantastic together! And the stars in the pocket is a great idea too. I like the peek through they create

usually I stop in the middle when I find something that looks interesting to take a photo with. That is the most fun part of the run – scoping out a fun background for my shoes. 🙂

Question for you Elise… I want to buy the Seafoam edition, but the Inner Circles website doesn’t have it available in Canada…. is it sold out? Any other way I get one in Canada?

I do not know for sure. For awhile they were taking pre-orders. I would contact them or check beckyhiggins.com for more info. Unfortunately I do not have more info on product launch times or availability.

Ahh, if my OLW for 2013 doesn’t shut up, I’m going to go insane! lol. Bring on 2013.
Can’t wait to see what your PL 2013 plans are. I’m a bit stressed trying to think through what “consistecy” ideas I want to use all year – kind of hard to figure out how to stay consistent for a full 365 days that haven’t happened. 😉
Are you going to share your plans?
Love the running pics by the way! They are awesome! 🙂
