Week 44 and I still love this project.

Catching up this afternoon with last week – Halloween and the start of November. My schedule is easing up these next few weeks so hopefully I'll be able to get a bit more creative with spreads. We'll see though…

Photos and stuff, photos and stuff. Added lots of text right on top of the photos this week. I love Zig Millennium pens for writing on my semi-gloss photo paper.

Added a few details to this side, our finished crossword, the Halloween Netflix packaging and a trimmed down card from my Grandma (with her handwriting).

And then photos and photos on the right. Three different self-portraits this week which wasn't intentional but was all that I seemed to have when I looked back through my photos. I'll be sharing more about that knitting project in the next few weeks.

And that's it! On to the the next…

supplies / Paper Source
circle labels, Evalicious
journaling spot & recorded badge, Martha Stewart & Avery labels, Amy
Tangerine for American Crafts patterned paper (LOVE), Studio Calico patterned paper (alphabet), Office Depot date stamp, Design A page protectors, Clementine core kit, Bebas quote font. I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

Great week!! I hate to be that person…but they lyrics are “I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart” which might not fit on the card as nicely haha. Love that song! Can’t wait to see the knitting project!

Ooh, pretty knitting project. I’m curious to see what it is.
Did you grow up learning how to knit, or did you teach yourself?

It would make a fab baby blanket. And a good full size human blanket. 🙂

That card from your grandma melts my heart! I have boxes full of cards from over the years that I can’t bear to part with, but are not doing any good filed away. I need to start PL next year, if only to have a place to put that kind of memorabilia where it’ll actually be seen!

Hey Elise . I have been really inspired by your pl over the course of the year. I am considering asking my inlaws (who are currently in the us) to get PL kit for me. I love the kit you designed and would love to order that . Unfortunately they are back before it releases. I was wondering ,is it possible to get by without a core kit and using papers at hand ?
    Thanks

Absolutely possible!! I would still recommend the pocket page protectors, but you can totally use what you have. 🙂
