Holidaybook

Super random work slash lay on the couch week. I caught a bug and have felt less like a human and more like a garbage can these past few days. But – good news – I think I saw a light at the end of the tunnel and I predict a better weekend and even better week to come.

I have started making holiday decorations. I have started planning our thanksgiving menu. I saw a peek from Becky on instagram of the new Project Life albums and I am sort of dying over how Seafoam is looking "in real life." Still no updates on kit launch dates, but I promise I will keep you updated when I know anything about when products will be available. I also hope to start telling the "Seafoam Story" starting next week.

Holiday books are set to launch 9am PST Monday. You can see a peek of the book insides here. It's 29 pages this year and will also be available with a plain cover and as a paper pack. I will be completing my own holiday album using the book and sharing my progress on the blog a few times in December. I do not treat the book as a "December Daily" album, but it would totally work in that way if you wanted it to.

And a note for my East Coast readers, I cannot believe the destruction Sandy left in her path early this week. I hope life is beginning to feel normal(er) for those that were affected. My heart goes out to you!

I always enjoy seeing the variety of projects you’re working on. All of my creative projects were put on hold when we lost power on Monday. Here’s hoping it comes back on soon!

I have to say that I wasn’t going to buy a PL kit for 2013 but when I saw your seafoam kit I changed my mind. Now, I can’t wait for it to come out!

I too love the around here series. And I think the holiday books look wonderful. Very tempting, although I already have my holiday book ready from my stash. Very tempting! (I also wasn’t going to get another PL kit, none of the designs speak to me and I am tired of trying to force it, until I saw Seafoam!)

I’m so excited about Seafoam! Pretty sure I squealed out loud when I saw you’d designed one of the new PL themes. And then again when I saw how lovely it was. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh, your Holiday book looks awesome – I will definitely be visiting your shop next week to get one of those! For the past couple of years, I’ve done a “make my own” approach for my December Daily album, but this looks too delightful to pass up.
Will you be posting any information about the dimensions of the album? (i.e. what size most of the pages are?)
    Happy Friday!

Elise, Will you have any christmas or winter themed stamps or embelishments with your december mini book?
PS: I cannot wait to hear about the Seafoam history. I am very excited that you designed it. I relate a lot to your project life as I have no kids and my husband travels a lot for work (not in the military but sometimes it is just me in my project life).
