Week 42 and I still love this project.

Photos continue to be the name of the game. I have a lot of projects this season and a lot of energy being spent elsewhere BESIDES this album. But I like that it doesn't matter. I'm just adding what I have when I have it and calling it complete each week.

Seriously, so simple.

Love the row of 3x4s on this page. That "awesome" badge is from Evalicious and the "On Wednesday" card (with blurred journaling) came from Elle's Studio. I found that cute Arrested Development card graphic here. The Christmas paper is from a sheet of wrapping paper I bought at Paper Source years ago.

Truly loving this project. (And getting so excited for 2013 and the Seafoam kit!)

supplies / Paper Source
circle labels, Martha Stewart & Avery labels, Elle's Studio journaling card, Evalicious badge, Paper Source patterned paper, Office Depot date stamp, Design A page protectors, Clementine core kit, Bebas quote font. I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

I absolutely love your album. I love how you keep it super simple. And I too am getting super excited for 2013 and your Seafoam kit. Can’t wait to place my order when it becomes available.

I love the flexibility of PL…you can make it as simple or complicated as you want. Like you, when I do have the time and gumption to do more embellishments, I do it, and if not, then no worries. And definitely can’t wait for the Seafoam kit to be available!!! Love your work!!

I love that you keep Project Life simple. I’d also love to hear more about your life again – I’ve missed the thoughts and connections you’ve shared in the past.

Love this spread! I’ve been doing PL this year – but a monthly version instead of weekly and love that you can put as much “effort” into it as you like. Next year I’ll still continue the monthly pages, and add in other pages for events and stuff.
This year Ive made my way through using a mix of WR memory keepers protectors and random papers etc. I was going to order you seafoam kit – but don’t want to restrict myself with just one ‘core kit’ of supplies.

Thanks! i must admit, i am not sure what you mean? I share thoughts in around here posts every Friday and recently wrote a post with thoughts on my one little word. A few weeks ago I wrote a long post about sharing personal stuff on the blog. 🙂

I have a pizza for you: Roasted delicata squash (in season!) with mozzarella, chevre, and a smidge of gorgonzola. Optional: marinara sauce. Toasted sage leaves add a nice touch too. So good! Eating it right now. Using chevre only makes a phenomenal slice, but it might be a bit too much, so I suggest using some mozzarella.

As I quickly read that quote card I first thought it said “Nothing great was ever achieved without sarcasm”…. not sure which one I like better 🙂

I think I mean that your posts lately have had beautiful pictures and informative text, and less of the witty, personal sharing about the bigger things going on in life. I think I’ve been drawn to your blog especially because my husband and I are thinking through some of the same things you and Paul are (or some of the things it’s seemed like you’re thinking through), and I’m so inspired by the path you’ve created for yourself creatively and professionally. You’re right that many of your projects focus on your life and your pictures certainly share a lot about that. I don’t mean to criticize you – I can’t imagine what it’s like to put everything out here online! (For the record, I tried to decide whether to email you this long-winded comment…you can let me know if I made the wrong choice!) 🙂

hey Kate, as soon as I responded, I realized I had been emailing with you last week about the archives! I know my writing style has changed a lot over the years and it is probably more obvious if you just spent time reading the old stuff. 😉 It will probably never be quite as candid as it was before. But it will be personal again. I go through phases about what I want to share. And I do not feel criticized at all, thanks for worrying about that! But remember for every reader who wants more personal stuff there is a reader who wants more crafts! Instead of trying to please one group or everyone (which is impossible) I just blog about what I want to. And currently, that is more photos, more crafts. 🙂 Hope that provides a little insight – I promise it would be VERY obvious and terrible if I forced personal stuff here.

Oh, I’m looking forward to Seafoam, too! I’ve been thinking and thinking and thinking about ordering it for another honest try to follow along with project life (so love the concept) – anyone else out there from Germany looking into ordering the kit? We could split shipping costs! 🙂

I am so excited waiting to be able to purchase Project Life’s Seafoam Kit designed by you! 2013 will be my first year doing Project Life. I didn’t feel that my empty nest life would lend itself to PL, but you have inspired me to go for it and then seeing your gorgeous new design just made it irresistible. You have a beautiful and exciting zest for life and I love seeing things through your eyes. When I am feeling down, I just start reading your blog and it always lifts my spirits.
