It was a pretty good week around here.

The backordered stamps arrived and got out the door in a flurry of packing tape and business cards. That is always a huge relief and if you've been waiting, I hope they arrive soon! This also means that all stamps are back in stock and ready to ship. Check plus.

Today, I want to congratulate Becky Higgins on three years of Project Life. How cool. She has been celebrating the birthday all week and yesterday shared downloadable cell phone backgrounds based on the new kits (and plenty of awesome ones from past years). She is also offering a free "quote card" download and I was happy to contribute one of my favorites from the past year. Go here to check them out (see if you can guess which one is mine…)

Thank you so much for your kind words on my stamped cards giveaway and "sharing personal stuff" blog post. I read every single comment always and I appreciate them so much. As promised … giveaway winners! Random.org picked #97 – Hannah @ let my heart be, #113 – Jaimie Lee, #119 – Shannon Younger & #229 – Catherine Daly. If that's you, please email me (elise.blahaATgmail.com) with your mailing info and I'll get your cards shipped out.

Paul has today off! Hooray! We're headed to Lowe's to try and turn my stamp display idea for the Queen Bee Market into something real and awesome. Other plans for the weekend: seeing Looper, picking up quilt batting at Jo-Anns (it's supposed to be 50% off this weekend!) and finding a pumpkin patch.

Have a good one.

I have been following your blog for quite a while now but I don’t think I have ever commented. I follow about 20 blogs or so in google reader. I get the most excited when I see a new post from your blog. My favorite posts from your blog are the crafting ones because you are so talented! I enjoy reading your other posts too because you always “keep it real”. You are true.
    Have a great weekend.

I love seeing photos your studio (and your stamps). I have several of your stamps and they are my most frequently used in my journal. They live on my desk, besides my pens. Thanks for sharing!

Have a great weekend, Elise! I’m curious about which of you stamps have been the most popular.
And I’m curious about your display for the market. I’ve been thinking about selling some of my handmade goods at the local winter farmers’ markets, and could definitely use some ideas and inspiration. 🙂

I saw the Seafoam cell phone backgrounds on Becky’s blog and I thought, how wonderful for you!
Just imagine, some people are now walking around with one of your designs as their cell phone background!

Clare from Winnipeg here. Just back from Washington and had to let you know that Founding Farmers was one of our favourites (both adults and kids). Also on our list, Fiola near Capitol Hill (fancy) and Good Stuff Eatery (not fancy at all). Also had been coveting your Anthropologie mugs and happened upon teh store in Georgetown (there are none in Canada) and bought them. Thanks for the tips!

Elise, I’m so impressed with how many stamps you’ve been selling! Also, I’ll be eager to hear more about your preparation for Queen Bee Market. A month or so ago, I suddenly got excited about the possibility of selling at a craft fair someday. I don’t know if I ever will, but it’s fun to dream about. 🙂

You inspired me to buy a whole bunch of fabric yesterday to make a pyramid/triangle quilt. I am so excited!!! I just hope I actually finish it. It seems like it will take forever, haha. I bought fall colors + woodgrain prints inspired by my recent hiking trip. I can’t wait. I need to visit the pumpkin patch this weekend too. Have a great weekend! ♥Lindsay

It is always nice when you’re enjoying your work – makes it seem as if you’re not doing work at all when you’re at it, right? Well, I bet you that it would be difficult to find a person who wouldn’t appreciate what you did to your studio. The ambience is so uplifting, and the colors can definitely energize you to make it through each day.

Got my stamps today! I can’t wait to put them in use. Well, some won’t get use for a while. The his & hers and the ampersands are for if & when I get married. I’m obsessed with ampersands and I could totally see making wedding invites with them. Can’t wait for the next round of stamps!

Suspire You are making me smile.
    Your studio is awsome.
I live in Argentina, and here we don’t have this stamps trend. I imagine yourself working, designing them and I can only smile.
Wish we had a market to do this as well here.
Thank you for making me smile 🙂

I love seeing all your stamps! Especially how you go about packaging them up! I wish I was in the US and could go to those markets to visit you… I love crafty markets so much, and here we don’t really have much of a trend for it. Glad I can at least see what your doing online and buy stuff from you online still!
