I could seriously write a long love letter to the city – specifically Little Italy where we lived right after we got married. (Our apartment was behind those two non-blurry windows in the photo above!) I won't though. That's boring. Instead, I will just say this… spending a few days in San Diego makes me so excited to (hopefully) return. And spending a few days in Little Italy (at the Porto Vista hotel with it's fun photo murals) makes me realize that if we come back, we have to do it right and live close to downtown again. There is much to look forward to (including great new restaurants on India Street!) these next few years.

    I can fully agree with your love for san diego. My boyfriend moved down there a few years ago and there is absolutely NO bad food place, and its beautiful there! Definitely decided to live there once we are married. I hope youve gone to eat at the mission and extraordinary desserts! 🙂 LOVE your pics!

    I lived there for 4 years and I miss it so much… We will probably be moving back in a few years though. My husband lived there for 12 years and really really misses it. I lived in Mission Hills directly across from the Sausage King lol… which I heard is now closed. 😦

    Yay for San Diego! And you went to El Camino, one of my favorite restaurants. I grew up there, and while I’m very happy living in Oakland, every now and then I get the itch to live in SD again.

    Little Italy! Fun shops and food. Then North Park and hillcrest both have cute stores too. If you have a day to go to Coronado and walk around, that is always fun. 🙂
