Septembergoals

For the first time, I had a hard time coming up with goals this month. Not sure what the deal is other than knowing we'll be out of town so much of September makes it hard to figure out what I want and need from this month. Really, I am just hoping for a great time with friends in DC and successful residency interviews for Paul. I'd also love a smooth stamp launch. And a very productive few weeks as I wrap up the content for my Big Picture class…

That's it, September. That's all I'm asking of you. 😉

Super warm welcome to my September blog sponsors. Please click through the right sidebar, great shops over there this month. Thank you as always for your support.

I had a hard time with my goals this month, too. Weird. I’m also working on getting up earlier (the hardest part is the going to bed earlier that comes with it). Looking forward to seeing what “wearable” you make!

Those are great goals. I did monthly goals for the first time this month, and I had a hard time not making them “to do’s” because I wanted them to be goals. Can’t wait to see how how you do with them.

As a curly girl – I miss your curly hair! I love the reminder of monthly goals though. Thanks.

It is at a bad length for curl. Excited for a cut and then curl will return.

I’m looking forward to seeing the stamps you’ll be selling this time around!
My goal for September is to finally do some of the things I’ve been putting off ’til “someday.” I wrote about it here: http://www.rachelswartley.com/2012/09/02/thirty-somedays/ I’m hoping to do things like make my own candles, refinish a small desk, start sewing a comforter, and read a book I bought back in July!
And in the midst of that, I’m hosting a 40th birthday party for my husband! Such a fun September. 🙂

There’s an image under Kate Spade but its a broken image on my end. It goes to big picture classes tho and it does work-just isn’t displaying the image. 🙂

Elise, I was wondering if I could ask you a question? I know you’ve said you’ve been blogging for about 6 years. Do you know roughly when your blog starting taking off? I mean, notice a change in terms of growth in readership? I guess I’m just curious how long one should start to see any .difference in that area?

Hey! I think it is definitely different for everyone. My readership has roughly doubled each year. I notice bigger spikes after some events, but for the most part, that is a fair assessment. I started to feel like I has a bigger auidence in fall 2007 after I did some holiday craft projects. 🙂
