Soooooo…

I don't really know how to follow up yesterday's post. I told Paul it would be rad if I could be like,

"GUESS WHAT, INTERNET??! I'M ALSO PREGNANT!"

And he was like,

"You, wife, are so odd." (<– I may have paraphrased there.)

So, that's not happening.

It's also not true; the only baby I'm having this year is made of paper.

But really, seriously…. thank you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and congrats and kind words. I read each comment & tweet (but, really, I always do that) and must admit I teared up a few times. During the crazy design period, I often forgot that at the end of all this, I would get to share my news.

I am so happy it was well received.

I am also quite excited at how well I kept that secret. I am no good at secrets. I am totally that person who hands someone a wrapped gift and goes, "IT'S A BOOK! YOU'LL LOVE IT!" before they even pull at the ribbon.

But hooray! The secret is out!

A huge task is crossed off my list.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Your support means the world to me.

And not to worry, the blog will be back to "normal" tomorrow.

    I wrote on Becky’s blog, but wanted to share my thoughts here as well. I’m so totally excited about you creating a PL kit. For months I’ve been thinking, “gosh, it’s so weird that Elise isn’t part of the creative team for PL since she inspires so many with her own PL album” and here, for months, you’ve been secretly being part of the team. Ha! So ya, it makes complete sense. I’m not even sure why I was even the slight bit surprised! Way to go, Elise!

    I am unbelievably excited about your design for Project Life. I am new to PL and found your amazing blog when searching for design ideas. I have been so inspired by your updates!
    When I saw your post yesterday, I could not have been more pumped! I even went immediately to tell my husband who sweetly responded with, “that’s really cool.” even though he probably didn’t understand a word I said through my excited exclamations.
    I will definitely be stalking Amazon in November when these are released. Your designs are amazing and I seriously can’t wait to see them in person! Congratulations!

    I read your blog daily but never comment – I have ALWAYS ALWAYS loved your project life pages. I especially like the black and white quote card that you include each week. The simplicity of it paired with the meaning behind the words is inspiring. So, you can imagine how excited I am to see that you designed the seafoam edition.     Elise, I’m still so excited for you that I have to comment again today, even though I already commented on your good news yesterday.
    I never heard of Project Life until I found your blog earlier this year, and I don’t know what anyone else’s Project Life looks like. So when I clicked over to Becky’s blog yesterday and read that she specifically wanted you to design something non-girly, I was surprised that she needed to request that. But when I looked up some of the other core kits, I realized why…
    Graphic polka-dots and chevrons and stripes (and that Bebas font!) are totally my style, and aqua is one of my favorite colors, so needless to say, I love your designs.
    None of the other kits appeal to me at all, but seeing the Seafoam kit you designed is tempting me to try Project Life… although I’m such a die-hard DIYer that I would probably design my own “kit.” 😉 It would be a great excuse to play with paper, which I’m already kind of obsessed with.
    Anyhow, great GREAT job on the designs, and congrats on being chosen as a designer for Project Life!

    I honestly can’t belive that by Febuary you’d gotten a call to design! That really shows how inspiring the first month {what is that like 5 weeks} was for your PL!! I am so odering the kit. {Which I never thought I’d do. I am perfectly content with my own PL style and own stuff … but this kit just rocks!!}
    BTW, my sister is wanting to get pregnant and everytime she calls or says she has news, I think she’s pregnant … it will come in due time! Focus on the paper baby for now. 😉

    haha, I think I had hit just the right note in those first five weeks. 🙂 And thank you – for real… I am not stressed about the baby. For awhile there, it is what EVERYONE (including me!) was expecting, and now that I have managed expectations, life is better and it is fun to joke.

    But I still can’t get over how great this is, I love your design aesthetic soo so much, and to have you pairing with Project Life is just too good.
