40 pizzas / BBQ chicken.

pizza no. 9 : bbq chicken.

occasion : it's Wednesday.

crust : our whole wheat usual.

sauce : bbq sauce.

cheese : mozzarella & provolone.

toppings : black olives, green onion, chicken & corn.

thoughts : this is our go-to and has been for years. Wednesday, we realized we didn't have the ingredients for the pizza we planned on making and I had to check the blog to be sure I hadn't shared this BBQ pizza before. SO, so easy because you don't have to make sauce, just squeeze it out of the container onto the rolled out dough. Add corn (fresh or defrosted frozen) & whatever else and you'll have a great pizza.

    love love BBQ chicken pizza! we make ours with BBQ sauce (sweet baby rays is our favorite), chicken, red onions, mozzarella, cheddar, and cilantro on top after it comes out of the oven

    My mom makes a great BBQ chicken pizza using a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store, thinly slices apple, caramelized onion and smoked gouda. Very, very good. I’m a veggie now, but I think it would be yummy with smoked tofu!

    Ooh, yum! I have some leftover grilled chicken in the fridge, and now I know what to make with it! By the way, do you (or anyone else) have a good recipe for BBQ sauce? We can’t buy it here, but I miss it so! Thanks:)

    Yum! I recently ate a really good vegetarian BBQ chicken pizza at a restaurant. I was shocked they had veg chicken and it made me want to make my own BBQ pizza… you just reminded me! 🙂
