Week 27 and I still love this project.

(click to enlarge & the images above will be [somewhat] clearer)

Pretty standard left page this week and then a big photo cut down on the right. Almost all the photos this week were taken with my iPhone. Cannot get over how great the camera is on the 4s.

Left side is ALL photos.

Usual suspects with wrapped labels and little journaling spots.

I added an insert to tell that shoe story. I cut down a Design C pocket page and put a 4×6 photo in the top slot and then my journaling, broken into 2 4×6's in the bottom two.

Plwk27insert3

On the backside I added three 4×6 photos – all which feature circles.

To the outside of the page protector, I added a circle label and Amy Tangerine "3" chipboard thicker. I handwrote the text "good things".

Plwk27right

The right side is one of my favorite pages ever. This beach shot was an iPhone photo that I processed with Instagram.

I added some text about the weekend in PSE and then printed the photo at home in pieces (using the method shared in the video in this post).

I am very happy with how this week turned out.

supplies / Paper Source circle label, Martha Stewart & Avery labels, Studio Calico patterned paper, Elle's Studio date tab and circle tag, American Crafts letter sticker, Design A & Design C page protectors (which are available in this variety pack),  Clementine core kit, Bebas quote font. I use a Fiskars corner rounder (it's not amazing, but it's lasted the longest of any corner rounder I've ever had). I am using a Zig Millennium 0.1 pen and Recollections glossy marker throughout this album.

LOVE, love, l-o-v-e the large beach picture too. You are so talented ! my fav page yet & really makes the book so visually interesting to break up the page layout in this way.

Thank you so much for posting a link to your tutorial. I’ve been dying to print a large 12×12 photo like that, but I also have a standard printer so I didn’t think I could do it. I bookmarked your video and will try that method very soon. Thank you!

This is so lovely and clean. I have just started a new life for myself and am debating taking up Project Life to document it… do you think it’s a good idea? I know I’m late to the party, but better late than never, right?!

I love your style – so simple and effective but it looks amazing. Every week. Did the instagram pic look grainy when you printed it that big? I’m scared to print them any bigger than 4×4.
Waking up to your project life post on Monday morning (I’m in Australia) is the best way to start the week!

Ahhh I love the beach scene broken up into different pockets. That’s beautiful. Disconnected unity.

There is no right or wrong time to start this project. I started P.L. in March of 2011. 16 months later and currently working on my 4th album, I absolutely love, love, love this project. So if you want to start this project, I suggest you just GO FOR IT and start right now. You won’t be sorry. There are so many ways to do this project but I absolutely adore Elise’s clean and simple approach. So again, I want to say thank you Elise for sharing another week with us and keeping me inspired. You ROCK!

I have yet to do a big picture layout like that but I seriously need to look into it. I LOVE it, Elise.

Thanks so much for posting the link to printing 12×12 photos in sections – a while back I was thinking of searching your site for it and now I don’t have to – so thank you!! Can’t wait to give it a try : )
