I should have mentioned last time, you are invited to play along. Use my prompt or make up your own. Share on your blog or keep them in your camera. Take one photo or hundreds (actually, try for somewhere in between). This is a fun experiment that encourages you to look at items differently and keep the camera moving. I highly recommend it.

Hate the round idea? Here are some other photo walk prompts I plan on using in my neighborhood and on our travel adventures this summer : neon, stripes, blue, yellow, pattern, light, pink, text, corner.

All photos this time around were taken with my Canon Rebel xsi at 11:30 am. ISO was set at 100. Aperture was at 5.6 usually. See all photo walk posts here.

Wow, what a fun idea. Will do this definitely after work. That’s inspiring for another style of photos to capture my summer memories.
You are such an inspiration to me! 🙂

Hi Elise, I felt very inspired after seeing your first photography walk post, and promptly popped on my 50mm lens and went for a wander around my neighbourhood. My theme was a little less specific and ended up being lots of photos of colour in nature, but that fitted perfectly with what I was in need of – colour. I enjoyed the challenge so much and the speed of it that I repeated it again last week, but chose the theme of text in my immediate environment. I loved that when I looked through the photos I’d taken, another theme had emerged, totally unconsciously, of ‘home’ in the text photos I took.
Thank you for your never ending inspiration!

I love that this ends up being a little field trip that makes you look closer at things in your everyday environment. Very cool.

Good morning Elise. Really loved the photo walk yesterday evening, when I got off from work. I chose “white”, because it came naturally to me. Just posted them:

Hello again! This afternoon I did another photo walk, this time following your ’round’ theme – I hadn’t planned to follow this theme but ended up spotting ’round’ items everywhere!
