Busy desk, busy kitchen, busy brain. I am in the strangest, most exciting work period of my life so far. Riding the wave like it's my job and really, really enjoying it.

The past three weekends have been packed and I am looking forward to just settling into this one with no plans or obligations. We might go see The Dictator. We might go for a hike. We will absolutely celebrate happy hour. There will for sure be leisurely coffee mornings and we'll pick up another box of strawberries at the farmer's market. I'd love to take a few photo walks. I have a decent bit of fabric that is waiting for me to find the right neon paint (or maybe neon piping?).

Happy weekend. Hold on tight, May is flying.

    I am! And for my mini books I buy wholesale from American crafts hambly. For normal crafting, I like the kits from my blog sponsor, scrapbook circle. 🙂

    we saw the dictator…there is 90 minutes i will not get back. while it was funny at certain times. most of the time i didn’t know if i should laugh or not as he says SO many racist things…oh well my husband wanted to see it so we did 🙂 those tacos look so so yummy!!!

    Elise- have you considered a “mid -season” addition to your pop p stamp shop? I LOVE your summer 2012 stamp in this post. I realise this could be limiting as we are almost halfway through , but how about a blank line ( in place of summer) and the 2012 below? And I’m get(ting) excited about that one too.

    I’ve decided to quit lurking your site, introduce myself & start commenting! It’s the least I can do for all of the inspiration you’ve given me. I’m a full-time nurse with a baby, but because of you (mostly) I still make time to work on creative endeavors when I can. I never would’ve started Project Life unless I’d seen what you did with it, and now it’s one of the most fulfilling parts of my week. Thanks for sharing all you do with us, Elise! 🙂
