Book1

Safe to say, December has been a bit busy. I didn't really get started on this book until last Wednesday, but that's alright. Eventually I will be glad I documented this crazy season where Paul was deployed and I was redecorating a town house.

I am totally going to add something to the cover to fancy it up – just not sure what yet.

Simple, simple. Lots of iPhone photos because that tends to be my go-to for "in the moment" shots. Please let me know if you have any questions in the comments and I will be sure to answer them there.

I still have a few holiday books if you'd like one.

Thank you so much for the gift of this inspiring idea! We put up our first Christmas tree in our new place and I took a picture of it and then thought, ok, well, now what? I really wasn’t compelled to scrap it, but doing a mini book like this is the perfect idea! And I love the iPhone pics–really work well with this album. I heard you on an old episode of Paperclipping Roundtable and loved hearing about your 25@25 album. That’s why I stopped by your blog–and saw this entry. Can’t wait to keep checking out your work. Have a wonderful Christmas! Kathy

How do you print your photos? Do you do them at home? Thanks 🙂

I also wanted to ask about the printing of photos! I take lots of photos, and it would be nice to have them in my notebook, but it just takes so much time!

I print at home! It is the only way I have found to not procrastinate on projects like this. 🙂

yes, I print from home. I have an HP photosmart printer and I used Office Depot semi-gloss photo paper. 🙂

Yes! I procrastinate so much because I don’t have my photos and then I have to order hundreds at a time and it gets overwhelming.

It’s super pretty and I love the simplicity, also there’s something adorable about those mini shots from instagram that reminds me of a miniature version of a polaroid.
    Lovely seeing it!

Thank you so much for sharing, photos of your new home, Christmas decorations, thoughts and your mini-book! It is all so inspiring. Think I might have to get a printer for home projects like these!!! I’m in the midst of making calendars for gifts for relatives (an every year project) and a “hand scrapbooked” one for my hubby (also an every year project…He has colleagues at work, who like to visit his office…just to check out the new calendar page!
