But the trouble with racing the sun for photographs is sometimes the sun wins. I'll share more when I get home. For now, I'm off to St. Louis to visit with some girlfriends and then I'm headed up to Sacramento to see the fam and to San Francisco to run a race.

Can’t wait to see it! I totally know what you mean about the sun. I’m always asking myself if I want crummy post-sun photos now or if I can wait for perfect lighting later.
All of your trips sound so exciting! Have fun 🙂LikeLike

I want to see it open! I LOVE this color palette and simplicity of quilting style. My mom is a pro quilter and I have asked her for simple colors and a simple design. I am still hoping she will surprise me with it someday. I hope to someday make my own quilt too.

Have a great run! Also, I am interested in trying a very basic felt patchwork quilt, even though I barely know how to sew on a machine (I am better at sewing by hand, but too time-consuming!). Anyway – I’ve been looking for very basic instructions – can you point me to any or give a run-down of what you did? Thanks!

Dang girl, you cranked that out super quick! Congrats on finishing before your trip – it’ll be so nice to leave for a bit and come back to it all completed! Looks gorgeous!

Amazing. It seems you did this so quickly. Are you a one project at a time person? Or do you allow yourself to have several projects going at once? Beautifully done! Have fun on your upcoming adventures. And enjoy seeing fall all over the country!

AH! You’re in St. Louis?! Or will be soon?! I would LOVE to meet you (I’m really sorry if this is creepy). I find you so inspiring and if you have any free time, it would be lovely to meet up. I sell cupcakes at the Tower Grove Farmer’s Market, which is a pretty happening and hip place, on Saturday mornings. If you guys are available you should stop by!
Okay. Stopping creeping now.LikeLike

Just drove around the park and saw lots of flag football and a pretty wedding but no farmers market. What cupcake place are you associated with? My friend who lives here is always looking for a good place. 🙂

Ah I’m so sorry! The market was behind the pavilion in the circle drive of TG park…I should have given you better directions! I only sell at farmer’s markets – it’s called Farm Fresh Cupcakes. I sell them wholesale to Local Harvest Grocery – which is a FANTASTIC place and also has a cafe that you guys should check out if you still have time here in STL – http://www.yelp.com/biz/local-harvest-cafe-st-louis
Have a great rest of your trip!LikeLike
