Thank you for this. I’ve been needing this. Today, for me, this means a break from that nasty Facebook and maybe the internet completely for a few days. As silly as that sounds, I think it will increase my happiness 2000%.

Elise, I am so intrigued by your blog. I am married to a soldier and I know exactly what it feels like for a deployment. I had a lot of sad life changing events before the deployment and thought that I couldn’t make it myself. Well time plugged on and I made it to the end. I hope that, like me, when you get to the end it’s a good learning experience for you and Paul. I wish you the best. I love reading your blog.
