I'm finished with my summer book. Yep, it's still August. Yep, I know that means it's still summer. But for me, this book seems done and this chapter seems complete. I'm excited that I kept it up and I'm thrilled to be done.

As for what's next :

I'll be spending the next week or so putting together my week in the life album. It's going to be digital and I will have much more to share about it once it's printed and complete. Then, starting in early September, I'll be working on an autumn minibook. I plan on carrying that project through November then doing a holiday book and finally I'll take a long documentation breather in January.

(Can you tell "Long-term Planner" is my middle name?)

If you have been working on your own summer minibook, I hope the process has gone well! I welcome you to join me again (or for the first time) in documenting your fall season. Look for a fun trailer (yep, I'm jumping on the "launch a new product with a video" train) by the end of the week and then the official launch of the new autumn books will be on Monday.

Would you like to see my complete summer album? Go here. I am officially out of papers for the summer books, so they are no longer available but you can purchase a cover at the bottom of this post and a bonus pack of paper here. Are you working on your own summer book? Add photos to the flickr group or upload a badge to your blog or website.

I love this book – I just might join you in the fall with an autumn mini book. I have never documented the seasons, but I think you are inspiring me. 😉 I loved the video blogs you did with the summer book, so I hope you do that again with the fall book.

wow! I have really enjoyed your summer mini book. As you know I ordered my a little late, but I have been working on since. I decided to start from June and work my way through August 28th. This is a crazy month for me and I am super excited to add all the wonderful things in my Summer mini. I will be sharing photos this week on my blog. I can’t wait for your Fall mini to come out. 🙂

Hi, Elise! Remember me from your Blog 2.0 class of July?? 🙂
First of all, your Summer book is the work of pure scrapping GENiUS, and I’d love to be involved in any scrapping ‘venture you set forth! Fall book, here I come?
Second: guess what! All the positive energy I received and gave off this Summer worked because I have my first-ever real-life teaching job lined up for September…what a wonderful way to capture my first few months as a classroom teacher than to scrap-a-doo it!
Third, in the next few weeks, I’m going to be putting all the information I gathered in your Blog 2.0 class to use by creating my new teacher/classroom blog set to launch September 1st (see post HERE: http://www.amandasproject26272829.com/2011/08/_much-love-monday_16.html )
That’s all for now. Looking forward to the trailer. See you then!

hi Lisa, dont worry about a rush on Autumn. It is just that I sold them for three months (from early May to the end of June) and they had to end sometime. Running out of that paper was a good reason. As long as you buy within the first few months, youll get one.

I’m so excited for the fall book announcement. I couldn’t participate in the summer book (we were moving from Italy to Virginia) and this fall is the last time before our next big move (Virginia to Germany) at the end of the season.
I just wanted to comment on your post about home. My husband has been deployed for about 27 months of the 5 years we’ve been married. So I spent more time without him than with him and I realized that I’m the heart of our home. He comes home to me and I keep our home ours while he’s gone. I love that you are making your own definition of home.

So funny that you’re ending your summer book & I’m still waiting to start. I’m using it for my holidays which start in 12 days. (Still have my fingers crossed it arrives before then!)

I love your book. I’m still trying to work on mine, getting my photos done and journaling transferred. I have everything saved in an envelope that goes into the book. Just looking at your book makes me smile. I love that you make these for all of the public. It helps me to chronicle my seasons which I love to do.

I might not have bought your book (the seasons are opposite here in NZ) but really enjoyed watching how this came together for you and picked up lots of awesome tips! Thanks for sharing. And I might not be able to resist the Autumn one (and save it for next year) because I love Autumn/Fall colours!
