Bread no. 18: cinnamon pull apart bread

Adjustments : I had to use a lot more flour than what was recommended to keep my dough from becoming a sticky mess. I also substituted about a cup of wheat flour for white flour. And even though it was encouraged to use a cup of sugar for the filling – I couldn't do it. I ended up using about a fourth a cup and extra cinnamon.

Notes : This ended up being much easier than I expected. Rise time was short and the dough still really grew. Am very glad I used just a fraction of the sugar – still had great flavor.

Review : Love. Will be making this again. Would be perfect for bring to a breakfast or brunch. And when it was still warm? It was divine.

I admire your resistance with the sugar…I think I’m going to have to drop everything and make this today now… 🙂

Do you use your KitchenAid for all of your breads? I just got one as a wedding present and I’m anxious to start making breads!

Cinnamon pull apart bread is my new favorite. I always go for less sugar than the recipe says and no one ever complained.
I just made one the other day to bring to work and it was gone within half an hour – guess it was a hit =)

I made this last week! Although I was bad and used 1 cup of sugar… In actual fact, a good portion of it fell out when I was cutting and transferring the dough into the loaf pan. It was soooo yummy!

I WANT THIS RIGHT NOW. Oh, man. I love bread. Especially bread with cinnamon and sugar. 🙂 Definitely going to try this, and I rarely bake.
