I was enamored with these cute videos from Ruby of Cakies and decided to do something similar when Paul and I went to The Waterfront for the last time this year. (Obviously we'll be back the next time we're together in San Diego.)

The entire video was shot using the iSupr8 app on my iPhone then put together and set to music in iMovie. Song is Magic by Rabbit.

Cannot wait to give this app more use on some upcoming adventures (that means with you girls in NYC, gtrain).

This is random, but today I thought of you because we stopped at one of those photostrip booths at the mall – but it was kind of disappointing because the photostrip was completely digital and really low quality digital at that. How do you find all of your great, retro photostrip booths? I would love to get a real authentic photostrip of my family sometime.

I have gotten lucky just a few times. There is a photobooth at Waterfront that we use frequently. Its digital – but good digital. The only old photobooth I have had access too is in Palm Springs at the ace hotel. I have no special tips. 🙂

Also, have you ever done a post about the music you listen to/love? I’d be interested to know about your taste in music, the music that you love or hate and the songs that are special to you. Where did you come across the song in this video? I’ve never heard of the band, it’s pretty cool!

hi Angela! I think I mentioned this once in a Q and A but my music taste is all over the place. I usually just hear songs on TV or on Pandora and then learn more about the band. This particular song and band I really love and heard about through Pacing the Panic Room – a really great blog. I have the album and its awesome. Super summer feeling. 🙂
