I'm back in San Diego! With access to my own printer! Quick book update with photos and text from NOLA and a little blurb about HP7. Which, by the way, was the greatest ever and my favorite of the series.

Yep, typos. Should read summers and fifteen but rolling with it…

Simple enough.

I turned the NOLA adventure into six pages – three with photos and three with text. The text came directly from this post. I printed the text right on to three pieces of 4×6 cardstock that I had cut down from an 8.5×11 sheet. I am pretty certain that I will be making an additional album about our trip to New Orleans which is why I was fine just using the iPhone photos for this summer book.

RELATED : I am going to be making more summer book BONUS PAPER PACKS. They will be similar to the first batch that I sold two weeks ago and will be for sale here on the blog at 10am PST on Friday. Just wanted to give a heads up in case you missed them last time!

Questions? Holler in the comments. Still need a summer book? Get one here. Want to see more of this album? Go here. Are you working on your own summer book? Add photos to the flickr group or upload a badge to your blog or website.

How did you have the text laid out on the page for the NOLA text pages? Was it in two columns?

the second video of this post should help : http://eliseblaha.typepad.com/golden/2011/05/summer-minibook-update-2.html I just laid out each 4×6 page separately following the steps in the video.

Love your book, Elise. What font did you use for the heading “Our visit to Nola”? Thank you!

I just discovered your blog and have loved reading your posts and looking at your projects. Thanks for sharing. Also, your videos have been great – my almost 4 yr. old daughter was watching them with me and kept wanting to add them to the queue! Apparently there has been too much Netflix in our house! Anyway, thanks for the inspiration.
