palm desert.

On Tuesday we drove over to Palm Desert to stay at Paul's parent's time share. We were there for a few days on our own and did nothing really but lay by the pool, drink good drinks and BBQ. On Thursday we got the bad news that Paul was going to have to fly out of LA on Monday for training and the good news that I had reached my sales goal. It was a crazy morning, but we made the decision to chill and enjoy what was left of our vacation.

Paul's family popped into town on Thursday night and my parents came the next night. We did more of the same + played Pinochle. Hang out and do nothing vacations are my most favorite ever.

    I am so glad you had a nice time! I am sorry to hear about your change in plans, but it sounds like you made the best of it. Rolling with the punches will get easier and easier.

    I love that your family plays pinochle. I didn’t grow up playing card games, but I married into a card playing family. In fact, before my father-in-law could date my mother-in-law, he had to beat her dad at pinochle. And now we play pinochle with friends here in Boston. It seems not many people play, though. Glad you guys do!

    hi Lori! I have a regular polaroid that takes 600 film. It is currently not being made. The instax is a more readily available option that has much cheaper film. I would check that out if you are in the market. And I just reached capacity on my blog workshop class which started on Monday. I will be running it again in the fall though.
