Per usual, our plans and Paul's orders have changed. We did a bit of scrambling on Thursday, and there may have been some tears, but now it's all good. One thing is for sure, I'm learning to roll. Not very well, of course, (it's like a giant boulder going up hill) but I'm improving.

We spent yesterday in San Diego and instead of driving up to Sacramento today, we're driving to LAX so Paul can fly out for a month of training (state-side). Then I am going to keep going north to stay with my parents for a week or so. I'm looking forward to seeing them, building some frames out of fence wood that my Dad recently took down and taking photos for my new blog/site launch with The Goodness.

It's going to be nice and packed and then I'll be ready to be back in San Diego solo for a bit (until Paul gets back and we have a week together before deployment).

All orders placed last week will go out tomorrow and most of my inventory is with me, so if you place one this week, it should make it to you soon.

Check back over the next few days for a project post as well as lots of travel photos. Our trip was cut short, but it was still amazing and second-honeymoon-esque. Seriously just what we needed.

Happy Fourth.

I’m sorry your plans had to change. That’s heartbreaking. Although my significant other is not in the military, and I hate comparisons usually, he does have three little ones from a previous marriage. Our plans change constantly. It’s so difficult.
Anyway, I’m sorry that happened, but I am also excited to see the frames you make!
    Happy 4th!

glad you will be visiting family (nothing better) and you at least had a few carefree enjoyable days with your hubby. Can’t wait to see more of your mini on the road book.

I’m sorry for the change in plans and your sadness. As a military brat, I went to five high schools so it can be difficult. Now 20 years later, it has been my greatest asset to be able to meet people easily and adjust to change. But it was really hard at times. Enjoy your folks and let them love on you.
