Paul's college friends were in town this past weekend and we packed it full including the Tourist Trifecta : zoo, Padres game & beach. Sadly, my camera only made it to the farmer's market so all my other photos are iPhone photos. The Little Italy farmer's market is just down the street from our place is arguably the best market in San Diego. It is definitely the best one I've ever been to, ever.

If you're in town on a Saturday morning, add it to your adventures for sure.

p.s. more farmer's market from late last August.

There are few things as lovely as a good farmer’s market!
In fact, I just wrote about opening day at our local market! 🙂

You’ve asked for blog post suggestions before… I was wondering if maybe you could write one about break-ups? How to get through them? I’m 21 and I bet a lot of your readers are around the same age and I’m sure we’ve all had broken hearts. I’d like to read some tips from you!

I am in love with Farmer’s Markets. They are one of my favorite things about summer–that and all the delicious fruit and produce!

hi Amanda… I probably will not do a full post on this. Breakups are terrible. Bad relationships are worse. I think it is easy to get so caught up in everything that you cannot see how it will get better. But it does, and life goes on and this too shall pass. I read Hes Just Not That into You in college and then passed it to all my girlfriends. It is pretty light hearted, but worth a read to get some perspective if you are struggling with dating post breakup. (At least it was for us.) Good luck!!

The Little Italy Farmers Market is definitely on my to-go list this summer. We tried to go earlier in the year but got there and couldn’t find parking, so we had to leave without going in. Good thing our alternative plan was Point Loma Seafoods and we still got some fresh seafood out of the trip downtown, LOL. But I’m definitely going to try again this summer, maybe get there earlier. That’s awesome you live close enough to walk there. Parking is a beast.

I’m on a mission to visit as many farmers’ markets this possible. Love them, and it’s one of our favorite dates, especially when we bring our puppy along.
Enjoy your weekend time together! It’s so important to find time for just the three of you, with no business-related distractions. 🙂
