Moving right along. I filmed a video for this next update that walks through the pages. One thing that I mentioned in it was how for me it's important to not re-invent the wheel with every new page spread. You'll notice a few "repeats" in photo and text layout this time around. I like that they keep the book consistent and allow me to focus on just adding memories. Of course, I am going to incorporate more creative ideas as the summer goes on, but not everything has to be "never-before-seen."

I just saw the TOMs sunglasses last week… how much do you like them?!?! I’d like to find a place to try them on first though. The book is coming along really well, and it’s so fun to see the videos!

do you offer to sell the 2″ book rings? I feel like they’d be easy and safe to send so maybe you should offer that? For me in NYC I know its a pain to trek to an office supply store just for something little like that. But I would totally order some. Hey, its just a thought. ps. I’m loving the video updates. I actually work on my book while I listen since its like a surge of motivating energy. So thanks and Happy Summer to you, too!

Ive thought about it. The trouble is they are sold in small packs and Id have to upcharge a lot to make up for the hassle/shipping/fees. Ill let you know if I decide to list them though!

Another great video! I have to admit I chuckled when you combined two phrases:
    Don’t reinvent the wheel
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
I call it an Eliseism: If the wheel isn’t broken don’t fix it.
    Too funny!

thank you for all the book updates as your summer rolls along. i’m loving my own book, especially the way that working on it makes me look closer at the “stuff” i accumulate each day (movie tickets, business cards, etc.)
