Ahhh! I miss the West Coast produce that looks and tastes like it’s fresh, ripe and hasn’t been on a truck/plane for 2 months. Especially the avocados… Yum 🙂

Such beautiful photos, and I’m jealous of some of the incredible foods you’ve been eating that aren’t in season yet here…like cherries and artichokes and strawberries.

i love cherry season. I am not exagerating when I say I will eat probably 20 pounds of cherries between now and the end of the season. LOVE them. Has anyone ever died from too many cherries?

Great photos. I especially like the one of the artichoke. Love the vantage point of the one taken on the table showing your arms and a plate of food. Is the green substance in the cup Green’s First?

it is actually called GreenFix – I get it at the farmers market. Probably very similar though!

It is called GreenFix and I pick it up at the farmers market. It has kale, chard, collard greeens, romain lettuce, spinach, dandelion greens, parsley, water, apple, banana and flax seed. As long as you drink it cold, it is really tasty!

what’s the green stuff in the mug? That looks good. I love fresh produce. We go to the local farmers market and buy most of our summer produce from farmers that grow it themselves. These are pretty photos.

Gorgeous pictures! I can’t wait to get back to Sacramento and the farmer’s market in August. Though I am lucky to live in the Berkshires where we do have some great produce.
