Bread no. 11 : crescent rolls

Adjustments : I used just 3 tbsp of butter in the dough and the 4th to butter them before baking.

Notes : we've always just bought the crescent rolls that you pop out of a can – I never really thought they were something you could make from scratch, but turns out there are a million recipes. Pretty easy & much cheaper than store bought. Next time I'll sprinkle them with parmesan cheese the towards the last two minutes of baking.

Review : fantastic, though I would probably add a bit more salt.

    the parm. cheese idea sounds so yum. I really like this series not only for the bread recipe ideas/inspirations but because I love seeing your different plates. Have you heard of a Fish’s Eddy in NYC? It is an awesome place with loads of dishes and housewares. Its almost like an anthro but for dishes and such.

    These look tasty!
    Do you have a favourite recipe from the 11 you’ve tried out so far?
    I think the beer bread sounds intriguing as I’ve never made or tasted this before!
    I was going to try out your pizza recipe last Saturday, and I got as far as making some tomato topping, then I realised I had run out of bread flour – d’oh! 😦

    i spread pesto or any kind of jam (for a sweeter option) right before I roll them up – bakes yummy flavors in!!
