Paul gave me a gold j.crew bag two birthdays ago and I have been using it everyday ever since. I love the size, but I am excited for something different. Nothing I've seen lately has been perfect though.
Right now, I am carrying around : my phone, tape measurer (because I have been at home depot what feels like everyday this past week), gum, planner, sketchbook
Nothing too exciting – but everything I need.
I love the idea of wrapping the camera in a scarf! SO glad to learn this brilliant tip! 🙂

i thought about doing a post like this then realized mine is literally: wallet, make-up pouch, mini tape measure, camera, phone. maaaaybe gum. not so exciting!

I use the traditional baggu size – the one that comes with the most color options. Paul and I have about 10. We keep them in our car and I always carry around at least two in my bag. I use them for groceries and while shopping at clothing stores. ANYWHERE really. And they are perfect for carrying stuff around too. Adios to paper or plastic. We dont need you.

I would also like to comment on the wrapping of the camera in a scarf idea. Great idea! I have been using a rubber band to keep my lens cap on.

I love your JCrew bag, but the last thing I need is another bag! I think I have about 50… Anyway, when I do not take my camera bag with me, I pull a sock over my lens of my DSLR. I should use my actual camera bag all the time, but in a pinch, I find the sock-sleeve works 😉

I also love baggu bags. I bought 4 but my favourite size is the lunch bag one – I keep that one in my bag and it comes in SOOO useful.
I must also add, I was distraught one day when some oily garlic bread leaked through its brown bag onto my gorgeous pink bag but I soaked it, washed it and it was perfect!
Love the picture of your bag contents. I am in awe of you for carrying the same bag day in and day out. I can’t commit to one for even a week!

Very originated. That picture inspired me to check what I have inside my bags and organized the unwanted papers, recites and so on…. Who knows what I’m going to find there 🙂

I love that you have a full-size measure tape in your bag. You’re a bit like a craft super-hero, always ready !
I had to smile at the rest of the content, because it looks pretty much like mine, up to the scarf for the camera !
A few month ago, I’ve tried to downsize my bag in an effort to travel lighter..but it just doesn’t work ! I like my big (slightly heavy) bag and all the possibilities hidden inside 😉

everyone here things my bag has wayyyyy too much stuff and they dont understand that I need all these things! I now feel normal knowing that there are others just like me 🙂 grins
