I love the pops of color against the white & neutrals. Just lovely. I am looking forward to two of your mini books when I get home on Friday! My husband has been given strict orders to watch the door & mailbox like a hawk. He’s a little excited, too! xo

ha, not much! I sort through, recycle some stuff, work the other stuff into minibooks and pile up the rest and stick it in a box. 🙂

Hooray! I have never tried the traditional scrapbooking… the layouts and community just didn’t feel like “me.” But I started reading your blog and saw what you did with your mini books, and I liked how you keep things bright and modern–feminine, but not overly girlie. I ordered some prints from Snapfish and little odds and ends from Paper Source (I’ve been a PS fan since high school–yep) so I’m excited to try it out. I have all of these photos and ephemera from trips to Italy and Spain but never really knew how to work with them. It was really fun going through all of the postcards and travel journals again; that brought some really good memories flooding back. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful inspiration! xo

I see your fabric stash is growing! 🙂 I’m a very new sewer myself and I’ve been trying to resist stashing, but it’s SO tempting, isn’t it? What have you been sewing lately? I love how you mix your media: sewing on paper, sewing cloth to paper, etc. You are so talented!

thank you! so far I havent done too much hoarding… I just get lots of leftovers from projects. I suppose it could be worse. Right now, I have a new dress/shirt pattern to try out, but no time to make it. Hopefully by the end of the month?! And great name, BTW. 🙂
