WIPcraftfair

I applied for a spring craft fair yesterday. Key word : applied. I didn't even get in yet.

But in true Elise "cart-before-the-horse" fashion, I got started on a display for my possible booth. I figure, best case, I get in and I have a dent made in my massive to-do list. Worst case, I don't and I'll have a reason to apply for the next one.

I can't wait to show you the finished piece and the other display ideas I have in my head. I am going to be better prepared this time.

Hi Elise! I have a random question for you… I am starting my own small wedding planning business…and one of the girls I am working for is considering purchasing the flowers for her wedding from Costco. If I remember correctly, Costco was the place you used for all the flowers in your wedding, right? If you wouldn’t mind emailing me some more information about it I would really appreciate it! Were you happy with the quality, service, life of the flowers, etc. etc. I have been following your blog for a little over a year now and just remember the flowers from your wedding being gorgeous! Just thought I’d check with you for your opinion on it. Thanks!

Good luck, Elise! The show would be silly not to have you there. I hope you get in. I am excited to see what you come up with, and your plan for taking on the next craft show.

Hey Elise, I love the colors of the display (and practically everything else you make)! Did you stuff this one like a typical memo board, or is it just fabric?
I have a feeling this show will have a better outcome than the first. Your work is great!

Can’t wait to see what you come up with! I just got accepted to two craft fair dates and am trying to come up with how I will set up a whole 10’x10′ tent just for my shop (I’ve only done one little fair with a 6′ table in the past, so this is a big change!)

Good luck getting into the fair!! 🙂 I just applied for a few Spring shows, myself (I’ve only done a few winter shows last year, before) – so I’m vying to be better prepared, myself! It always takes a bit of trial and error to find your market, locally – and is so much more work than you think, isn’t it?? 🙂
