a change of pace.

My new laptop arrived on Monday. And after I got my application icons in rainbow order, I spent yesterday working quickly.

What a difference all that extra memory and power makes. And I don't think it hurt that I also upgraded from Photoshop Elements 4 to PSE 9. It took me a while to get my bearings back, but oh man. I was due for a switch. To give you an idea, I used to open PSE and then go make lunch. When I got back to my desk, it was about ready to let me work. Good times.

But now, I'm re-energized! And the blog design workshop is benefiting greatly from it. (Look for the complete launch info early next week & then sign ups on 3/21.) Today I have to make a quick detour to the dentist (I'm a bit worried that I have my first cavity) and then it's back to lighting speed work.

    love mac. seriously! it is the best & most user friendly. I also just switched to PSE 9. I love it! use it everyday. I can’t wait for the blog class. I really just need to figure out a few coding things that I think will really make my blog look better.

    I hope you’re having lots of fun with the new computer! I got an iMac this summer, and it just made the WORLD of difference with my designs!
    I’m with everyone else– SO excited for the web design class. I’ve taken a few HTML classes, but I’m looking forward to your insight and thoughts on applying knowledge to “real world” settings.

    Hello! New reader here! I am BEYOND jealous of your Macbook Pro! My macbook is going on 5 years old and it’s pretty much maxed out. I CAN’T WAIT to get a new one…eventually…

    I have had a MacBook for the past six years. I LOVE it – no complaints. But I do so much graphics/photo stuff on my computer and the pro has more power to handle all that. I wanted something that moved very quickly – and that is the Pro. If I didnt do so much computer work, I would have gotten another Macbook for sure. Hope that helps!
