So far so good.

This format is working out. I stuck with the same simple style as January. Complete with black machine stitching. I didn't take many photos in Vegas so I used the few that I took with my iPhone ShakeIt app to make a visual from our trip. I transferred the photos to my computer and created a 2×4 grid in photoshop elements then printed it at home.

You can see January 2011 & more information about this album here.

I love how well the album flows! Even though the photos aren’t all the same subject matter, the style is seamless – you really have a knack!

i adore how this album is turning out… i love how you make something so standard (like a simple 4×6 album) and turn it into something so unique just by changing the size to 4×8 and adding your own touch here and there. it looks great!!

The album is coming along so nicely! Seeing your sewing projects made me think you might like these patterns. I just discovered them today: http://www.sewlisette.com. It’s a branch off oliver+s patterns. I think you’ll really like them.

yes!!! I purchased that one and the tunic, dress, skirt one too. Although I hear you can get them at Jo-Ann’s.. probably cheaper with one of their many coupons. I can’t wait to try it out. I hear their patterns are GREAT to work with.

your book is coming along very well. i love the simple, but classic look of your book…it’s easy to keep it going even if you’re short on time. side note, love to see that i’m not the ONLY person obsessed with taking pictures of my feet. lol.

PW are my go-to actions! I used her B&W for some portraits of the kids I hung on my wall, and I’m no professional but they look pretty classy to me (and were only the cost of the print at Costco!). And I used Lovely and Ethereal on a birth announcement for my sister-in-law and it turned out gorgeous. And, of course, I use at one of her actions on pretty much every layout I do! Fresh and Colorful is probably my favorite; it gives everything just a clear, crisp boost.

love your new project! Great format! Do you print most of your pictures at home or do you have them printed somewhere? I’m looking for a good place, recent pictures from snapfish were disappointing.

I print almost all of my photos through scrapbookpictures.com. And then some at home if I need them right away. 🙂

I really love the font you used for the months….like a dotted letter. DO you purchase fonts or have them from a download, cd, etc? I’d love to know–like the idea of using my computer with the mini-books. Great idea for ready made photo album!
