You’re amazing!! I have made several quilts & I am amazed at how quickly you have completed this project! Wow! Thanks for sharing… wish I had a way to share mine, but I’m too busy with MA studies to learn to upload photos to a blog, just now!

Oh, ugh! that was always my most unfavorite part of the whole quilting thing! It’s a little bit of mental ‘so close, but so far’ isn’t it? It looks beautiful! 🙂

i love your ability to start a proj and complete it in a short amt of time. i think too much about it before actually starting my projects.

You have done an amazing job on this quilt. I usually get the tops pieced and then need a break from the quilt itself for a period of time. I go back to get the sandwich put together and then I need a break. Finally I quilt them. Once quilted I usually bind them immediately. However, I do all of it with my machine. I know I should embrace the hand-stitching, but alas I haven’t to date.

Are you doing the binding by hand or on a machine? I always dread that part…also, did you do your own quilting?

Kudos to you! After making several quilts, I realized the reason, women went to quilting bees is because different people enjoy the various aspects of putting them together. In my house, you can tell the ones I made, they are all waiting for the binding!

I am so impressed Elise! I know so many people who have quilts languishing for years, and yours was made up in a matter of weeks! Well done!
